Both, but I think the Mormons stop people on the street more now.

Never had a morman call on me and I think they are called latter day saints.
But the bible says : Matthew 24:14 This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
So the people today doing that work is Jehovah's Witnesses.
I think they are everywhere. They are preaching love not war.
And really do obey the scriptures and get married and be faithful to your spouse.

Mormons do door-to-door preaching, but not nearly as much as Jehovah's Witnesses do. Another difference between JW's and Mormons is that ALL of JW's knock on doors to share what they know from the Bible. Only young Mormon males preach, and that is only for a a few years. The rest of them stay at home.

I don't know which is which. All I know is, when I say I am a Catholic, they get very upset and push.
Last time they came to my door, I didn't open it. I asked who it was they said so and so from Later Day Saints. I said I am not interested and no thank you.
I heard them mumble something as they were leaving something under my door. I asked them what they said and they shut the door.
So, I wrote a note saying no soliciting and not to leave me any of their info because I will just throw it away.
Number 1:
If your trying to get someone to listen to you do not show that you have a attitude!!!!!!!
Number 2: Do not persist to leave info for someone if someone says NO!
Number 3: Do not mumble because we can hear you.
: )

usually JW. Mormons wear white shirts and ties and ride bikes during their missionary years right after their first year of college (I think)
we have two Mormons volunteering in our local library right now. I keep waiting for them to approach me so I can refute them.

I've had both, but neither call these days. I was having too much influence on young, not-fully-prepared missionaries.
I always invited them in, and my (minor) fantasy was to get both lots round at the same time, to see how their arguments worked on each other.

I have a brochure where the Muslims want to begin doing it, also. They refer to the unmatched success of the witnesses as an example.
