In Ezekiel 38, it talks about Gog, Magog, Meshech, and Tubal. Does that mean that Gog and Magog will be technologically advanced? Most people believe Gog and Magog to be Russia, and this would help the theory, idea, etc...

Why have the vast majority verses say that whoever believes will be saved, and only a few verses that say whoever believes and is baptized. Supporters of salvation by baptism often use argument by omission to support their claims, but notice that many verses like romans 10:9 say whoever believes WILL be saved, not can be or might be. Either all who believe are saved, or the verses contradict each other. Someone who neither believes nor is baptized certainly isn't saved, but there isn't a single verse that states believers who aren't baptized aren't saved. Faith and baptism are mentioned together in some verses since new converts in those times were usually baptized immediately, and why would a new convert refuse to be baptized unless they never had true faith? If verses and passages from the bible are taken in isolation, they can be used to back up almost anything. Do passages like Matthew 19 mean that whoever doesn't give all their possessions to the poor won't be saved either.

Then he put humans on it, but gave them free will but said you must believe in me so that you can go this other place I created. If he has no emotion how or why could he care whether we believed or not?Why would he conduct a rather pointless and silly experiment with human beings? If everything is in his plan we don't have free will? Why would he invent an evil side of our character if he is a good god?If he did why would you want to worship him?Why would he play a game anyway, he isn't human-humans play games as they are motivated by the outcome? He is the supreme being-why would the outcome interest him?How could he hold interest if he wasn't a human? How could any adult human being in their right mind believe in this absolute fairytale?None of it makes any sense whatsoever? How did he rest on the 7th day? What is rest if you are not a living creature anyway?Basically we don't know how we got here therefore we made an extremely poor story up? Makes the OJ Simpson's case look 'feasible'

I am a born again Christian actually. But i am so confused about everything. In the first place i feel so defeated in every area of my life coz things never work the way i think if them to be. I feel so discouraged and frustrated. I am so fed up of living my life like this. I have always wanted God to work in my life but i feel He is not interested in my life. I know im wrong abt i dont understand why so much delay in getting my answers. I really cannot go on. Infact ive now termed myself as the defeated one, and may be that God will never work in my life again. My prayer life too has gone dead. Dont know wht to do..

ok so i was listening to the radio right and this guy, a pastor, well he said that he is a mand of God and teaches his family to follow Christ and to try to live like christ and so on. one question the interviewer asked was was it true that he had had an affair the past year, he admitted to it. i'm sorry i am a Roman Catholic and i was so disappointed in his answer. like how can someone take you seriously when you yourself are an hypocrite??? i feel as if some christians [meaning catholics, baptists, you know all of the christian religions] use this "i am only human" or "i am a siner" approach to excuse their actions. i can honestly understand when the atheists or non-religious people call us hypocrites and so on. dont get me wrong i am not generalizing, far from it, it's just i see these excuses use to often. yes we all have faults but isnt our jobs as Christians[no matter your denomination] to follow Christ's life to be closer to God. this paster cheated 3 times! i was so disappoint

I think so personally. But I have always found it weird that strong religious people will deny evolution but still accept science when it comes to their health as in taking pills and other medication. What is so wrong about evolution? I could never understand why evolution has been disregarded as fact despite all the evidence we have showing our link to it. Especially our knowledge in astronomy and how our planet has evolved along with us. Are you religious and believe evolution?

I just read a story about a dog that saved the lives of five children (attacked by two other dogs), but died as a result. A dog is instinct. It goes after bears when a human thinks: "um, I won't win that fight." Why would a human being give up his/her life for another?
