Money and power. Money makes you feel you are above everyone else and are the equivalent of a deity. Power because when you are in power you think of yourself as a godlike being and have absolute control and turn corrupt (evil). Both can be roads to self destruction if you are not careful with it all. Or it can be the road to prosperity and wealth in life if you are careful and still remember who you are.

The other 2 are merely tools to gain or maintain power. When all others are stripped away power prevails as the root of evil.

MONEY IS not a sin it is the act which
proceeds it whether you use it for good
or you use it for bad.
aND YES you have alot so called religious folk that use it for sick stuff and make alot
of it with lies and hypocracy, but I don't blame them if the people sending it won't read the bible that shows them they are not obligated to the OLD Test. and gives them the command how to give (1Cor 16:1,2)
But they give out of fear and LAW (tithing)
and we are no longer under the LAW (Rm 10:1-4)

The root of all evil is the desire to bend others to your will.
Money is only a means of bending others to your will.
Power is often considered the ability to bend others to you will.
Religion is a method to bend the masses to your will (they may claim it is God's will).
