Then he put humans on it, but gave them free will but said you must believe in me so that you can go this other place I created. If he has no emotion how or why could he care whether we believed or not?Why would he conduct a rather pointless and silly experiment with human beings? If everything is in his plan we don't have free will? Why would he invent an evil side of our character if he is a good god?If he did why would you want to worship him?Why would he play a game anyway, he isn't human-humans play games as they are motivated by the outcome? He is the supreme being-why would the outcome interest him?How could he hold interest if he wasn't a human? How could any adult human being in their right mind believe in this absolute fairytale?None of it makes any sense whatsoever? How did he rest on the 7th day? What is rest if you are not a living creature anyway?Basically we don't know how we got here therefore we made an extremely poor story up? Makes the OJ Simpson's case look 'feasible'

"I just mainly keep a personal relationship with God"

I love this one! It translates to 'It's all in my head so if I say this I cannot be questioned about it'

Very good but been done before

The bible is written by people who want us to believe in god. No good for evidence or reference. What else do you have?

If he wanted to love for his people he would not have created us to have the capacity to be sinful-makes no sense? Unless he is an unintellectual god?

Define "free-will" in your third question.
Why? because the minute you choose "not" to believe, that is your Freewill.
You're not a Robot. You're a Human created (NOT EVOLVED) by God. Pointe Finale!!!"

Sorry? But christians say that we have free will therefore I can choose not to believe.Yes of course. But Christians also mention everything is in god's plan. If god knows what is going to happen then there is no free will as he already knows what will happen as it is in his plan. Whether I believe in him or not still means he knows what is going to happen therefore that isn't free will.

What exactly is your poorly presented point. Let me have a guess...you're religious?

Egypt-2)"we do have freewill ,are not you free to decide to do what you want ???"

Yes but I am not the fool believing in this fairytale. I am not the one who keeps making things up as an excuse for my deluded beliefs that now we have contradictions for every single story of christianity!

The bible was created to give us human example of how people sin and how people can be free from it and be close to G-d. Also G-d didn't have to rest, but did so that when it was written in the bible we would see that that was good for people to do for their physical and spiritual wellbeing. You can create heaven for yourself in this life and in the next by who you choose to believe in (trust, follow..) and by what you do/say. After the fall of mankind, sin came into the world and affected nature and us... not for the better. That does not sound heavenly or perfect does it? How would we get out of that mess? By trusting G-d to lead us. It's up to us how we respond to what has happened and is happening to us and the world. How could he hold interest if he wasn't a human? I may get thumbs down for this, but in a way, He was. He has total understanding of what being human is like, because He came to us as Jesus so that He could be exactly like Adam before he sinned the first time and be able to help us take back what Satan took from us. Perfection.

God has emotions.
Jesus wept for a man who had died.

God is omniscient meaning he knows all things but he still gave man a free will. He did not want us to be like robots.

Adam the first man was innocent. The whole purpose of God in creating man was to have a relationship, to be friends with him.
God wanted man to be Holy in other words whole.
The only way to be Holy was to follow God's command.

God told man that he could eat of the thousands of fruit trees but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he was NOT to eat of it, If he ate of it, he would certainly die.
That was a test. There was no way to be Holy or whole but by passing the test.
Unfortunately, Adam made the wrong choice, he had to eat that ONE fruit and sin and evil entered his system that day.

God knew this was going to happen but he was not mad at Adam but sad. He had made provision to help Adam out of this mess. Jesus would pay for the sins of Adam.

You are right, God is a spirit, he does not need to rest. He was setting an example for man.
Man was created on the 6th day. He wanted man to have a holiday, the very first day of his life.
He was teaching man that work is NOT the most important thing in life. Fellowship with God is first and foremost.

Good question!

Wow, what a lot of questions for one post!

Well, they say s/he created earth. Did s/he? Dd s/he rest on the seventh day? I dunno. (And don't care.) What is rest? I'd say it just means s/he stopping creating stuff.

Why'd s/he make people with free will? With an "evil" side? Well, if you programmed them like robots to worship you, you can't very well say they do it because they LIKE you, can you? You have to give them a chance to choose.

Why would s/he care if we believed or not? Why create us in the first place? I think "one is a lonely number". I think God was really tired of being by him/herself. And having someone believe in you makes you feel less lonely/bored/sad.

Here's one for you: How can there be free will when God knows what you are going to do? My answer - have you ever seen a two year old's eyes light up when they see the candy dish? The kid has free will. But you as the adult KNOW the kid is going to make a bee-line for that candy bowl!

Were do I begin....
You mistake is your first assumption "God has no emotions". As his ultimate nature is "love" (as in "God is love") he would have all the emotional attachments and feelings that come with any love relationship. That was his motive for the whole creation, to be able to have that love relationship with his people. If you read the Bible (the ultimate source for understand the God of the Bible, he states that he loves, laughs, is jealous, becomes angry, forgives, is merciful, mourns, and more...all of which are "emotions".

Had he created them simply as robots, to obey him, then there would be no love relationship. So for love to exist, there that to also be the possibility of hate. Within a fair and real choice, there was no choice. And no relationship.

It is because "God is love", that he has an interest in humans. He is working to grow them into people able to share a relationship with him through all eternity.

The balance between "free will" and "sovereigncy" is one that theologicians have argued for years and will continue to argue. But as everything in scripture indicates that we will answer to God for our choices, and we can't do anything about his, the only thing we need to worry about are our own decisions. Make the decision to love, serve, and have that relationship with him, and everything is cool.

Good question actually. You definitely have some valid points.

Yes there is freewill, and he can't make us love him. That is true. To him, we are his children. He wants the best for us and it is our choice to follow him or to not follow him. Hell is said to be some scary place where you burn and burn and burn forever in Satan's domain. Not quite sure how accurate this assumption is really. Hell is more like a metaphor to me. It's just a word to use that you're life wouldn't be all to great after death if you chose to not follow him. I don't think it necassarily means we're going to burn forever.

Basically, God says that if we follow him, we have much to look forward to in the afterlife. Bountiful food, peace, love and friendship. A world without hate. I myself don't believe the Bible is entirely accurate. It was written by Man, and Man cannot be trusted, so we don't know if it's for sure the word of God.

I just mainly keep a personal relationship with God and have accepted Jesus as my savior and I do my best to live my life the best way I can that would make him and myself happy. I don't go to church either.

1) wether humans believed or not , prayed or not , it does not do god any benefit or harm as He already has angels who pray for Him all day and night , and even the angels' praying god doesnt need it for He is perfect and does not need anyone else or anything , but god created us to worship Him and gave us countless blessings and our own freewill to choose our path in life and our place in the after life

2)we do have freewill ,are not you free to decide to do what you want ??? we are not animals who are just acting depending upon our instincts but gave us our minds to choose from good and evil and do it

3)god didnt invent an evil side , this is the devil who pushs us into sins and wrong doings as he hates us , want us to obey him and disobey god so we go to hell with him ashe thinks we are the reason why he was expelled from heaven

4) we worship god for His greatness , His mercy . look around you in the many different aspects of life and you would realize it

5) the out come interests Him as He created us , loves us very much , this is out of gods greatness as He doesnt need us yet He cares for us and want us to live a good and prosperous life

6) what do you mean by rest on the 7th day ??? god created the wholw universe in 6 days in oreder to teach us paitence although He could ave created it in one second

7) i suggest you raed a little bit about religion and think about it before it is too late

Hey genius, who told you God had no emotion. If you had ever cracked a Bible, you'd see his love, his wrath, his second chances for His beloved creations. This alone discredits you from any credible discussion of our marvelous creator.
But should you wish to consider the God who made you as wonderfully as He has, here is where you should start:

You truly are demented in your current state. I'm not sure you're listed in the book of life. For your sake I hope you "come to senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken you captive to do his will."

God, religion, the bible, church were all created by humans, and thus are subject to all the same faults humans have. It was all originally made up to give people a "moral center" so they'd stop killing each other...the bad thing is it backfired and more people have been killed because of religion than in all the wars combined. It's an imperfect story made up by imperfect people.
