Not necessarily.

The plan is to show Satan that his way was not the right way. God said he'd make a new heaven and new earth. The old will pass away.

He didn't. And it's not.
Read the following, it's from a free book you can get from The watchtower.org, It's called "Kingdom Come" an older book". Probably available only from the society through their website--------if available, it's free.
The “Last Days” and the Kingdom

ARE we now living in “the last days”? What do “the last days” mean? Happily, there will be no “last days” for the earth itself. For the Bible assures us: “The earth . . . will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.” In line with Jehovah’s original purpose, human and animal life will be perpetuated here for all time. (Psalm 104:5-24; 119:89, 90; Genesis 1:27, 28; 8:21, 22) However, there definitely are “last days” for those wicked nations and individuals that are ruining God’s earth. It is the ‘coming’ of the Kingdom that brings ruin to those ruinous ones.—2 Peter 3:3-7; James 5:1-4; Revelation 11:15-18.

2 Could we now be living in those “last days”? Just take any translation of the Bible and read what the apostle Paul was inspired by God to predict for the “last days,” at Second Timothy chapter 3, verses 1 to 5. Then ask yourself, Is this what the world of mankind looks like today? Here, the apostle forecasts “terrible times,” and adds:

“People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”—New International Version.

Yes, there's more, this is just a part of it.

Read Revelation 20 and 21.
God will Judge everyone according to their work.
God will make a new Heavens and a New Earth.

It is not for us to question why God created the world and he would just end it later. The most important question right now is do you Love God - The creator and redeemer of this world? Also, would you still love God till the end of time to eternity?

God did make the world for us. But he wanted us to love him enough that we would obey.
When we begin to get evil and lawless God punished us.
Jesus came to buy us back from the sin Adam put upon us.

Jesus promised a cleansed earth.

He will get rid of the bad and keep the good.

The heavens have already been cleaned.

You're not here on Earth to have a good time! Your down here as being nothing more than God's humble servant's.

You're down here to convert people into Christianity, and to help let them know that "God Is!"

And when this Earth passes over that is supposed to be the best day because then we, the chosen in the book of life, will reside in paradise (heaven) for all eternity.

He wouldn't... &, He didn't!

The world is not going to necassarily end. We're going to be reunited with God when the Rapture comes and those who did not follow him will be left behind on earth for 7 years where the planet will basically turn to chaos. The movie "Left Behind" staring Kirk Cameron (Mike from Growing Pains) would give you a good idea.

And to be completely honest, I don't know if that is completely accurate. We'll know when the time comes. :)

but the earth is not going to be destroy it according to Genesis 8:21: And Jehovah began to smell a restful odor, and so Jehovah said in his heart: “Never again shall I call down evil upon the ground on man’s account, because the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up; and never again shall I deal every living thing a blow just as I have done.

In Psalms 37:9: For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

The world (full of sin and rebellion) as we know it will end.

A new heaven and a new earth will be created and enjoyed by those who believed on Jesus.

The Earth is not going to end, just the white man's world as we know it...God is going to end the world of the white man/Satan. The white man was created from the original black man (fact). The white man's world/times came in thousands of years latter, but it is very very wicked. So the real god (the black god) is ending the world ( The white man's world only.) as we post. We are at the end of the world/times (the white man's world/times only). Read your bible the King James (a white man) version .
