Is there any better way to teach our kids empathy and compassion than the nightly routine of "and last of all god bless me"?

I'm talking about people who definitely do not believe in heaven or God for #1
1. Do you believe in what comes around goes around, you sow what you reap, or what?
2. What keeps you from sinning or doing wrong?
3. Do you care?
4.. What got you to the point of believeing there is no God or heaven?
5. Are you afraid of death? What do you think about death as it can happen at any time?
6. Do you think it is better safe than sorry to ask God to forgive you and let you into heaven, or do you think you should just party?

This is not an offense, an honest and curious question. I really want to know if there is anyone can live without praying to God, at least once in his lifetime.

Both directly contradict the bible.
Langauges evolving is acceptable to believe even though it contradicts the bible and life evolving must not be accepted because it contradicts the bible. Why?

If muslims deny these things they totally destroy the message of Jesus, How is this respect? Christian doesn’t need you kind of respect which is zip. Destroying the message of Jesus dennise Christianity and its purpose! So what you call respect is of an enemy.

...why make it a requirement for membership in some churches? And wouldn't this make Jesus a little confused in his commandment if it doesn't get you to Heaven anyway?

Please give me your thoughts; In a completly Natural Material Universe, all is made up of Atoms, in their various configurations. (Bottom Line) Now, a man in the desert pauses and ponders the billions of stars above him. He forms an opinion as to their purpose (or lack thereof). Now, what has just happened? In a totally Material Natural Universe, you have one set of Atoms (specifically, his brain) having an opinion (a value judgement) about ANOTHER set of Atoms (the stars). Does this make "common sense" to you? Is it reasonable? What if anything, does this prove about you (or me)? I believe very strongly that it DOES prove something. If you think deeply enough about it. I'm not going to say what, until the question is over. Then I'll put the answer in the "detail section". What are your thoughts on this? This is a serious question. I'm looking for serious answers. Atheists always say that they know how to think clearly. So, lets see some good, serious answers.

If you were to say goodnight, how would you say it in a way that reflects your religion/faith/beliefs?

May God make his face shine upon you and give you peace!

This is a genuine question, really. What do you believe happens to you after you die? Does the idea of death scare you if you believe that death is just the end?

Christians, do not try to tell me none are used in Christianity, I've attended too many of your rituals.

I use both yew and oak made by my own hand. the wand is yew and the Stave is Oak--well carved and dark with the years.

Maybe it's just my particular computer glitching out or something but I went back to check a detail in a Q/A discussion about the statue on top of the capitol building in the US, whether it was a Christian symbol and what that would then have said about values in secular America.

The whole discussion seems to have been removed by some higher authority. But I, for one, learnt from the 20 or so people who contributed. From memory, I can't see how that Q nor all the A's were sen as offensive by anyone.

so much for freedom of speech

She was coerced into meeting up with a man from online. She lived with his family for a week. He claims he let her go in Dallas after learning she was only 12 and not 18. She is a foster child, 4ft 9 in, 130 lbs. I worry for her safety. I did not know her personally but being a mother I care deeply about her.
Peace Be With You.

Relatively recent thoughts on the bio genesis and evolution have suggested that self replicating DNA from ancient viral infection of our evolutionary ancestors added genetic code that contributed to the cognative development of the human being and his separation from the apes. These remants make up about 1/12 of the current human genome. Is this discussed anywhere in the Bible?
