(Just to keep this as a technical question for the sake of this forum)
If you were to say goodnight, how would you say it in a way that reflects your religion/faith/beliefs?
May God make his face shine upon you and give you peace!

1) Good Night, and May the Angels Watch over You.
2) Angels on your Pillow.
3) God's Love this night and always.
4) May the Night Stars in God's Firmament Shine for you
His Love.
These lines are some that I use. I think they can be used in any Christian Church.. The words " Good Night" is offered with a short Blessing to the Person you saying Good Night.

Yes, I would say what you said there.
Or a prayer:
"Visit this place Lord Jesus, and drive far from it all snares of the enemy, let your holy angels dwell herein to preserve us in peace, and may your blessing be upon us now and forever. Amen"
Or "May God bless you and keep you and all for whom you love and pray, both now and forever".

I grew up with "Good night, God bless, see you in the morning, I love you." My sons have heard "May you sleep secure with guardian angels surrounding you until the morning."

I just say Good Night. Sometimes I add Sweat Dreams. I don't mention God to anyone when I say Good night to them. But I say my nighttime prayers before I go to bed.

Every night I say "Angels on your pillow!" to my sons to remind them they are watched over as they sleep.
For closing every question, answer, or email, whether morning, noon, or night, I give blessings to everyone I meet.
Blessings...

I alway said a goodnight prayer with my sons when they were little.
"Now I lay me down to snoozy.
I hope the Lord is not too choosey
About who He takes up to Heaven with Him
Or else my chances will be mighty slim."
