No that would be the State of Israel doing that
Iran and the rest of the world need to know that a leader of a country like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cannot make the threat of wiping the Jewish State of Israel of the map on several different occasions.... and defy the world to potential make a nuclear weapon that could achieve a stated goal that has not been retracted or stated as not being a position of the Iranian Government
Rest assured that if you were living in Israel this would be top on your list of things for your government to deal with regardless of all the religious implications in anyones direction
the sad thing is when this happens Iran will not be at fault... the world will attempt to make Israel responsible and the aggressor... but we all know now that is just the spin of the people who want to always promote strife ...when the world could stop it now before violence becomes necessary

They have not made such a decision...yet. However if you really do your homework, Iran poses the greatest threat to the U.S. next to Al Queda. Do you really believe for a second that Iran's nuclear ambitions have nothing to do with using a nuclear weapon against the U.S.? Remember this is the same country that wishes "Death to America." (Don't hear that in the news media do you?)
The bitter truth is this: We need to launch a preemptive strike on Iran because it's only a matter of time before they strike us. And even if they didn't strike us, I guarantee you they would not think twice about selling a nuclear weapon to the terrorists. If people can't see that than they are either fooling themselves or letting the news media pull the wool over their eyes. One could even argue that we should have targeted Iran before we thought about removing Saddam from power in Iraq.
As for Armageddon, only God knows the answer to that.

Who told you that the government has decided to attack Iran? Are you on the phone with George Bush right now, or did you hear this from some news media organization?
I'm not saying that the U.S. will never attack Iran, we certainly can't seem to be friendly with each other, but I don't know of any decision like that having been made just yet.

There is no plan to attack Iran. We are always prepared to engage in any conflict though. If Iran goes too far, then it will be up to the US to step in and stop any aggresive actions. Armageddon has no baring on this topic.

We have decided to oppose Iran a long time ago when we learned they were state sponsors of terror. How much moreso when a state sponsor of terror is trying to aquire nuclear weapons to destroy Israel?
