She was coerced into meeting up with a man from online. She lived with his family for a week. He claims he let her go in Dallas after learning she was only 12 and not 18. She is a foster child, 4ft 9 in, 130 lbs. I worry for her safety. I did not know her personally but being a mother I care deeply about her.

Gotta pray for her AND him. And for the "family" that were the onlookers and enablers.
Maybe the whole business of the internet being anonymous creates the environment in which paedophiles prosper so all of us who use the net are in some part responsible for that child's fate.
PS: 18 is not a magic number. Any adult who convinces a 21, 22 yo kid to meet them in person is no less guilty of procurement.

She lived with HIS family for a week and they didn't do anything? Not many 12 year olds look 18. I won't pray but I will hope. But to tell the truth this sounds a little fishy.

I am only one voice praying as hard as I can from Boston for Maddie. It is my hope that my prayers combined with thousands of others will be heard and will result in the safe return of Maddie to her family. I cannot imagine the tremendous sorrow and anguish this family is facing. Praying that God will watch over her now. I'm more worried about her being on the streets by herself in a town than in that man's home.
Let's hope that someone finds her or that she will gain some sense and find a place of safe refuge.

life is amazing and scary alls i say is that anything is possible if you try i am 11 almost 12 and she can challange her brain but 1 day in the future you can find her
