I watched a recent show on CNN about the famed prosperity pastors. These pastors tend to associate good faith with good financial success. I am a practising Christian, hence this issue is close to me. Do you think it is wrong to associate financial success with the gospel the way these pastors are doing? Please provide a reason why you think so. I do not think it is wrong to pray to God about your finances but are they going too far with the so called prosperity gospel?

So for example somebody who knows everything (i did not say somebody is human or not so dont get angry at me) told you that he could explain the truth about our beginning (lets just say he knows it and it is correct) Would you accept the offer and find out the truth or will you just believe in what you know now. If you do want to know, are you ready to accept the truth or will you let yourself to answer the big mystery?

I am just asking. In this question I do not support any of the known explanation to our beginning. I am just asking your opinions, do not bombard me with words of hatred okay?

what god you believe in or don't believe? Why do you need another way to segregate yourselves from others?

It reminds me of children at school. There are the smokers, the jocks, the nerds, etc. I teach my kids that everyone is different and they should respect that and not make fun of other people.

Everyone is different, why can't we celebrate that and embrace all the greatness of each?

My wife left me and my daughter 2 months because she says we are not spiritually compatible. She is a Theophostic and I am a bible believing christian. We went to councelling for 3 months to her 3 pastors and they each told me I needed to believe as they do. They lied to me and told me that if she left our home she would be removed from her position as minishtry leader. When she left they wanted me to appoligze to her for asking if she was having an affair with the other ministry leader who she calls 15 to 20 times each day and talks for hours at up to 2:o'clock in the morning. For a year she has been leaving in the morning and not coming home at all until 9:30 or 10: at night. She says she is working and I found out her step father gave her 10,000.00 dollars and she has been giving it to the church and when I found out a year later she said she would have rather burt the money than give us a dime. What to do?

On this very forum, I have fiercely defended the gospel of Christ as the truth. I've defended the concept of the Trinity, and how it is not polytheism or tritheism. I've given solid evidence that the Qu'ran is a bloody and contradictory book, written by a pedophile and murderer. Many of you responded positively one morning when I just had to ask the question, "Is there anybody out there who loves Him?" Now, you question my Christianity, and some even accuse me of being a cloaked atheist. I know whom I serve. He will justify me. I have spoken nothing but truth. I may have made mistakes, but I have nothing to prove to anyone on this forum. It is not right how many of you have judged me.

The misquotes, misrepresentations, and infantile concepts of evolution that they propose are CLEARLY unrelated to anything scientific, yet these are the concepts that they FABRICATE then choose argue against.

Why the lies and denial? They only impress imbeciles at most..!

Not unlike a dog chasing it's tail really.

Creationists, what distorted and understandings of science do you fabricate and then debate against..?

i beleive it is because the Bible says that ."every man has been give the measure of faith." not a different measure per person but The measure.... and that it's up to us whether we will water it or allow it to be squelched or whatever... i mean like little children don't ask i, "is there a god/" rather they say things like, why did god make the sky blue.... your thoughts.....

I think this verse makes it pretty clear, those who are suffering should be allowed to ease their suffering. Does this make you feel differently about Dr. Kevorkian?

Also makes you think twice about denying that bum on the corner a $1 because, "he's only going to buy a 40 oz. with it."

I find this interesting....your thoughts?
