The suggestion of what you feel you could do first leads me to believe that your request to be accepted by the Holy Spirit would not be a sincere request. God forgives but not if there is a desire to change one's ways to avoid sin. You are not blindly forgiven "no matter what I do or have done or continue to do"

1 John 8:7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

If you fail to see the downside of evil and the upside of good, it wont matter who you ask for forgiveness because you are missing the point. It is like the difference between watching somebody get high and having a really good time versus watching somebody go through withdrawls. 2 completely different perspectives of the same coin. Yes you have the freedom to abuse substances, but it comes with a very high price.

When you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he was raised from the dead, you confess your sins to Him, and you accept Him into your heart, you are saved. To be saved means that your sins are forgiven. Look at John 3:16 in the Bible. Yes! All of your sins will be forgiven if you are truly sorry. But after you are saved, you must continue to live for Jesus. Get a Bible, (and read it) go to church (my preference is an Assembly of God), and try your best to live according to the Bible. You need to get involved in church so you can be taught. I hope this answer has helped you. May God bless you!

First of all we need to adjust the wording, the Spirit already accepts you, it's you who need to accept. I also think you want your sins absolved instead of resolved. That being said to answer your question... yes no matter the sin, it is forgiven. Paul before his conversion collected taxes which in those days meant beating and torturing people who tried not to pay. Your sins are forgiven, now they still can be punished through the laws of your country, but Jesus paid the price for ALL sins, and as long as you sincerely are seeking forgiveness in your heart, you are wholly forgiven by God.

No that is not entirely true. You will be forgiven if you are sincere and only God and you know that. If you are sincere you will not want to do what you did in the past. You will be given a new spirit. You are reborn no longer to sin but to righteousness.

So your last comment makes your sincerity evident even to us so I guess you won't get past God.

yes but that doesn't mean to keep doing it all the time . what i mean is that you cant plain out a sin to do then ask forgiveness ever time you plain to do it because you ant really being sincere with your self and with god only true repentance from the heart and mind shall be forgiven . now don't get me wrong we all fall in to temptation but what makes the difference is that you fell guilty about it after wards and you try to fight it by your self and don't want gods help to be delivered from it because of the sham it brings . but with the love of Christ any one can over come anything if they let Christ in their hearts and be centered in gods love . so yes all sins will be forgiven but if you continue in them without repentance from the heart its just a waste of breath . may the grace of god be with you always

It is a two way street. The Holy Spirit must call or compel you and you must accept if either of these do not happen there is no salvation. The Holy Spirit knows your heart and if you are truely repentive and will comppel you but if there is no true repenting it will not. You cannot just say I am saved it must be by the Spirit of God.

Have to say Mark, but you worry me a little!
Yes, if you go to God and ask to be forgiven with a truely sorry heart he will forgive you.

If you truly are sorry for what you have done then Yes HE will forgive you, But what you are indicating, is that you will continue to do evil works, and with that he will not forgive because to receive absolution you must repent (turn from evil and do it nor more).
