what god you believe in or don't believe? Why do you need another way to segregate yourselves from others?

It reminds me of children at school. There are the smokers, the jocks, the nerds, etc. I teach my kids that everyone is different and they should respect that and not make fun of other people.

Everyone is different, why can't we celebrate that and embrace all the greatness of each?

Yeah we should. I dont blame the non believers of God because they have their own free will everyone cannot be same so yes you are right. we should just do our thing and invite them not force them to join :)

exactly- everyone is different. that's why people come together in different religions or religious groups so that they can find something similar about them. if no one had similarities, then what do you think would happen? besides, these religious groups have come together to form bigger groups with different branches. these religious groups help increase one's social circle, so they are not really segregating themselves from other people. belonging to a religious group, whether you believe in God or not, makes you feel like you have a home. that develops camaraderie, friendship, trust, and love.

You are right in that we should respect other people's beliefs and not make fun.
However, respect does not mean agreement.
Do you agree that it is not up to us to decide what is acceptable to the Creator.
It leads to chaos having one group saying
"I think God will accept this" and another group saying
"I think God will accept that."
Is not the Creator of the universe capable of telling us what He thinks is acceptable, or not?
Example:
If God makes it clear there is no fire in hell, then those who teach there is, are off the mark.
We can show them respect, but not agreement.

I take it you don't teach history...It does make a huge difference. Do you want to take the chance that it doesn't? I think at school it is a decent thing to do, but we all need a focus in our lives. so adjust the lense.

As soon as I get relieved from my position guarding the school doors from Christians trying to slip their religious beliefs to teach my children, and right after the Muslim quits saying he wants to cut my head off.......I'm in!!

The difference means life to us. All we can give our Creator is our worship. He is the one who gave us life and can restore such life if we die.

Nothing else is deserving of our worship.

He has one way He desires to be worshipped as is His right. It is up to us to find that way and obey or not. There is no halfway.

People who experience the gods don't choose to believe anymore than people who fall in love choose to love.

I agree that we should have respect for one another. But if (as I believe), God is who the Bible says He is, then it is He who does the seperating, not us.
