You won't believe what is going on with my father & the retirement center he is living in (Holy Haven of Rest). I came over there the other night to check on him, he was not in his room, he was sleeping with a woman 3 doors down the hall (he's 87). I couldn't believe this...I went back the next day to complain to the staff (no help from them) well...I found out that the entire place is like this. What they do is all the elderly people each night get together and the men put their false teeth in a jar.. same with the women..then they pull out a set of false teeth and that's who you get to sleep with that night..outrageous behavior! So I called Father Myrick..he's worthless BTW..I tell him.. and he laughs so hard he spit out his coke out of his nose...he ask me what does he want him to do (clueless) I say I want them kicked out of the Church..he say's "why don't we just pray for them...then he say's why don't we let it go..hell no I said.

what would you do...everyone say's NOTHING?

How do I tell a friend gently, who is always playing the victim that the "sins" she accuses others of are ones she is guilty of herself. Normally I would just pray and say nothing but she is saying some pretty terrible stuff and I can't stand it anymore.

I Only Wish To Comfort You with this poem of mine. Will you have it? Here goes:
Never Lose Hope

It's not your fault,
Don't hide your face.
This home once was a very happy place.
Where children laughed, and played, and grew.
Yet now the laughs are very few.
He's angry now,
When he comes home.
He wants a drink,
And to be left alone,
To hear no noise, to eat no meal.
This house has lost it's family feel.
I can hide my scars under shades and such.
But I won't let the kids cringe at his touch.
They deserve their peace, and a world of joy.
Why should they stress and be annoyed?
Mommy's hurt and Daddy's mean!
He wants a drink or nicotine.
I just want peace.
I just want sleep.
I just want the the arguing to cease.
No more police and no more lies.
No more excuses and alibis.
Everyday gets harder to cope!
Then I remember her last words......

Mommy said, "Never Lose Hope."

It's automatically assumed by some (not all) that we are mad at God, or hate Christians?

Sometimes we just like to ask questions in order to learn your point of view. How else can we know this without asking?

Do you belieave in reborn? Do you think if we die we are born again? Is it possible? I belieave in it. Because some of the days or things that i do that i haven't done before or places that i have never been it feels like i have been there before, or the things that i do it feels like i have done them before. Its weird. Or sometimes when i'm having coverstation with somebody it feels like i have had it before. But i haven't. I think that when you die you are born again. It recycles.

Why does God insist on sending prophets to that area in particular. Why not Australia for instance?
(I mean Judaism, Christianit and Islam)

I just watched this video for the first time:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLG-XYuB-Mc
After laughing hysterically on the inside for a while, I actually started to feel bad for the one guy who called in.
To him, the world must be a very magical place. So many unexplained mysteries... like how the body works or where the electricity that powers his appliances comes from.
So to a person like him, belief in God is NECESSARY to explain the wonders of the world. To him, there can be no other explanation because he cannot understand even the most basic processes... or maybe... refuses to understand the most basic of processes.

So my question is... are these people a lost cause?
Does anyone think maybe churches should probably be throwing in a couple biology or physics lessons to help people understand just how fantastically wonderful the world around them is? I'm an atheist, but even I know a God would not be happy to have ignorant followers who don't understand his creations.

I know it's impossible to disprove it (it's hypothetical!).

I'm wanting to know if religion is so deeply rooted in some people that they'd just go nuts if they found out it wasn't true?

In Psalm 37:4- it says- "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you desires of your heart".
Something came to me recently that I want to share, and was wondering your opinions on this.
If we truly seek after God we will only want what God wants for us- so the desires of our hearts will be His and He will grant those. God does not always give us what we want, but if we delight in Him, and love Him and please Him, then our desires will only be for Him. What are your thoughts?

If we were able to know the true teachings of sacred books, Bible, Qur'an, Gospels, we would find Cosmos was needed to be build, in order Life to exist. So each one of us started to be formed 15 billion years ago as Big Bang Theory says. Our life has a span for 77 years average. Its meaning is to get salvation. This is not able to get with money, but with our spiritual growing. To do that we are in need to follow the teachings of the Great Teachers; Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. Salvation is obtained if our God is really The One Who Gave us Life, not the money, power, pleasure. We are in need to fulfill His Sacred Will, that is: Have a Life with full Gratitude, Respect and Sincerity to Him (The True God whose voice is in our Conscience) Please let us practice these sacred teachings instead of talking about them, my dear friends. Lets start each day giving thanks to Him and asking Him His Protection and His Help in order we accomplish His Sacred Will: Take care of ourselves & our neighbor

why do some people add and subtract from the bible? what you see is what you get, i just hear some people say "oh i believe in jesus christ and heaven but i dont believe in hell", how can you not believe in hell when the bible states that there is? another thing doesnt the bible state that committing suicide in a sin, but yet i hear people say that "not if you have mental disorders, or if you are emotionally distraught? i dont see that written in the bible anywhere, if you committ suicide thats a sin, you cant repent for that. im an agnostic, but im just confused on how people envison God the way they want him to be and not for who he really is written in the bible

I heard someone say that if you save a person's life, you will go to heaven. Is this a true statement that God made or something someone made up?

The Son of God.

Now,at this time in mankind's history,
in your faith, religion, belief(s),
(I do not wish to cause stumbling,
so u choose if its your faith, religion, beliefs.)

Do u regard him as a babe.
Or as King reigning in heaven?
