http://www.holybible.com/resources/athanasius_creed.htm is a good link that helps people in clarifying what it means to believe in the trinity. Clearly it isn't polytheistic at all.....those people who call us polytheistic are just misinformed.

Hmmm, for the main section, I ought to assert "no pores and skin off my nostril". i individually do not think of i'm able to make certain which gods are "actual" and which at the instant are not, or which gods are extra advantageous than others. additionally, if i've got found out something on a similar time as examining Paganism, that is that the main precious non secular device is an open innovations it quite is keen to check, extraordinarily while it includes theory structures i'm not acquainted with. these days, i've got been considering regardless of if a guy or woman could be a Pantheist and a Polytheist on a similar time, and how that would artwork, precisely, yet i'm not incredibly all that comfortable with the thought each and each physique gods are merely sides of the only God. i assume i'm happy with the thought the Gods are the sum of the Universe, besides the undeniable fact that it quite is a technique or the different patronizing to assert "that is okay in case you want to have self assurance in X, all gods are a similar god besides." as though somebody else's ideals want my alright to start with. incredibly, a minimum of from the place i'm status top now, i visit honor the Gods i'm pressured to honor, and that i anticipate that all people else will honor the Gods that decision them. >>>Edited to sparkling that final bit up.

Mormonism does not have OneTriune God but 3 separate divine beings who used to be humans somewhere and who worked their way up to some sort of godhood rank and power, through Mormon rituals and other things that released and enhanced their pre-existent god-nature,if I am understanding Mormonism correctly.
Polytheism means having many gods and there seem to be even more than these three gods in LDS Mormonism. Also, the Eternal Infinite Ultimate Creator God would be the one that I would want to worship, since He would be the all-powerful and all-knowing One and the 3 inferior and lesser demi-gods of Mormonism,if you will pardon my viewpoint, I would not spend my adoration on .

Because some people cannot grasp that God is in three persons: God the father, God the Son, and God the Spirit but still one God. (Basis is in Genesis, Acts of the Apostles, Philippians and even in the Gospels). If look at it in terms of philosophy, it is hard to understsand. Only in the eyes of faith can you see the oneness. That concept can never be understood if you see it literally.

Many sects of Hinduism consider the smaller Gods to be manifestations of a larger God. Are they polytheistic or monotheistic, and why should Christianity be defined differently if you think it should?

Two reasons: they don't know or can't fathom that we believe in one God in a manner different than them. The second is that it's cheap apologetics. Christians do it also, sadly (my pet peave is the "Christianity is a relationship, not a religion" nonsense).

Because they see Father-Son-Holy Ghost as three distinct entities, not one. Therefore, they see you as a polytheist, not as a monotheist.

Who's "we" / "us"? ... No one's ever labeled *me* a polytheist.
