Watched a programe on the God channel last nightl. Very interesting. But in it this young man going through crisis needed to be told the story of Christ. If you don't go to church don't you pick it up from Christmas films and TV. I thought most people knew the story and many knowing it choose to reject it.

Is it not because you will feel better about yourself,
Is this 'good works' basically selfish act.
Is not religion basically selfish people fooling themselves.

Do not answer if you cannot be contacted!
But I will forgive you if you do.

Please know I'm not trying to single out any one of you or make you look like you're less. I'm just curious as to what you think happens after death.

take away those who chose not to obey or "sinners/unbelievers"

what would the world be with all Mormons, all Catholics, all Muslims, all Christians...noone to disagree..
would it be the "new world or "utopia/heaven"?

who would they have to look down upon, is the entire religion about elitism and condescending upon "them" or basically every other human alive who believes differently (all of us)

Check it out. A theist that knows how to spell it.

My question is, don't you think all this publicity and exposure generated by the Kirk Cameron Nightline debate is wonderful exposure for atheism?

I am not saying that it will necessarily change the mind of a believer, but maybe it will open the minds of some more open minded people who just have never met an atheist. Some of us have a preconceived notion about what an atheist is. I know I did a year ago before I started to participate here.

Seeing someone try to prove God exists using a banana will never hold up in a debate with logic. What does that show me about the person who thinks the banana is proof?

As a believer, I see the Grand Canyon and see a picture painted by God. As a person I know it was formed by the Colorado river over millions, or billions, of years.

Truth=I can tell you Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah that all once searched for.

Moses said without the shedding of innocent blood there is no atonement/forgiveness for sins. Leviticus 17:11

look up Isaiah 7:14 emanuel means God with us to be born from a pure young virgin by a miracle sign

Isaiah 9:6 He would be the Son of God, and the almighty God the prince of peace

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins."

the essenes which some say Jesus was a part of -yet you will have to make your own decisions-held to the Jewish Scriptures The Tenach=the Law prophets & writings

this is how I came to know Messiah Jesus=remember Jesus is a friend of sinners-one lie breaks the law=a sinner.

If Jesus is not the Messiah as promised-then we are left with no blood atonement for sins for Yom Kippur-as Daniel states we would go to hell abhored from God forever Daniel 12:2

do u agree? I say you are not Jewish if you reject the Messiah!

would you think about the Church or proffessing Christians as a whole if we just let it go and no longer bugged you, or "rejected" you, or counseled you on life, love, happiness and a relationship with Jesus. Also would society improve or degrade?

I would like to know-

1)What accent does he have
2)What langauge does he speak
3)What method of communication does he use?

If the answer to number 3 is anything like 'it's in my head' then you are medically insane.

Assalamu Alaikom Brothers & Sisters,

I've been working on this research in the Holy Qur'an, until I reached Verse 18 in Surat Annaml, where it says in the Arabic word "Yahtemannakom" "لا يحطمنكم سليمان و جنوده و هم لا يشعرون"

Some say that an Australian scientist discovered that 80 to 90% of Ants are made from glass.

But I need to be sure 100%, I searched in Harunyahya.com, in Wikipedia, in 55a.net, in Yahoo & Google. but I found NOTHING.

My question, Is it true that Ants are made from glass?
please give me a link that mentions the name of the one that discovered that and in which year.

May ALLAH bless you all.
Ameen!

He's omniscient, so he knows exactly what is necessary to make you believe, and yet he falls just below that, allowing you to go to this place "Hell" that he created knowing it would be used to torture misled souls.

Isn't He such a loving god? I wish my parents loved me that much...
