Is this a significant contradiction? Is this a contradiction? Is it relevant that this detail is missing in a text that tells people how to have faith.

When stealing someone else's god, notably the christians stealing the god of the jews, you have to leave certain baggage behind.

I don't think His jewish faith is ignored. There are quite a few instances of Him going to jewish festivals, passover, preaching in the synogogue etc... Besides, He came to bring the new covenant, and He made it so the old covenant no longer applies.

Jesus' faith is very prominant in the Bible.

Obviously you either are not a Christian and you have not read the Bible or both.

Or you were raised in a church which does not teach the Bible.

I was raised in a church which did not teach the Bible as well.

The Bible was written by 40 monks (without any editor-in-chief) who were not Jews. This is the problem, and the reaso for the contradiction.

Jesus was a Jew by being born of a Jew not because he chose to be one. By the way have you even read the gospels?
