An atheist, of course. But I would hope that if they have questions, they would feel open enough to come to me.

I never realized that our choices were so limited. Is an atheist criminal in the selection? How about a choice between an atheist Christian or an atheist criminal?

Falsely limiting choices is not realistic, nor does it prove anything about truth. Limiting choices is a logical fallacy, so this argument cannot prove whatever it is that you want to prove.

It would be great if life could be that simple, wouldn't it?

Ironically, my children turned out to be none of the above, so I cannot relate to the question.

God bless you my friend, in your quest for the truth.

I think it should be fairly obvious, even to an atheist, that a young person who sincerely loves God, prays regularly, and reads the Bible consistently will not be a criminal.
Of course, the operative word there is "sincerely". One can claim to love God, and pray, and even read the Bible, but not be sincere in their heart.
Hmmm....
When you think about it, if the person is "going through the motions", but doesn't really believe, then that person is actually...
an...
atheist!

I am happy to report that all of my children have matured into wonderful, loving, peaceful Christians...and my grandchildren seem to be following in the family tradition.
Praise the Lord!!

There's no such thing as a Christian criminal. If he were Christian he would follow the laws of the Bible. If I can recall to memory, I believe "Thou shall not kill" and "Thou shall not steal" are still in the Bible. (Though they may soon be removed by those who are mysteriously driven to edit it whenever possible).

Obviously a criminal, Criminals are forgiven by Jesus while atheists burn in hell forever. The wonderful thing about being a Christian is we can do whatever we want as long as we beleive in Jesus and he will forgive us for it. If they are going to be criminals they just need to do it well and pray to Jesus for forgiveness.

I'd rather he be an atheist
than causing problems on society
but I never knew someone
like that only if he's a so-called
Christian. =)
