I think teaching them at a very young age why it is important to believe in God. Bringing them to church, they would meet some wonderful people, and make friends. Going to church is something they will carry around with themselves where ever they go. Too many people are straying away from God, and religion. It's beyond sad and disappointing. To keep a family united we must believe in one God!

Hmmmm.. a personal union.
If you are referring to a sexual union, many youths would agree that it is important to them. Ideally, it would be the way God designed it for us. That is - being married and with someone of the opposite sex. We bond with and become one with the person on many levels. If we have done this with several people before marriage, we lessen and cheapen the bond that we are to have with our spouse. What is done can not be undone. That includes STD's as well.

I don't understand your thinking. Union means joining together as one. Young people are able to have many unions. How a union with an imaginary "god" is possible gets by me. I suppose if you think you're connected to god, then, in your mind, you are.

i refuse to call it personal union. integration is always with god, and unless you have that, you will never find fullness. that is why the youth are restless, always trying to go on adventure, going through a stage of searching for identity. eventually they will realize that life is not fully integrated without the divine absolute.

It's important for youth to explore their possibilities spirituality-wise. I feel very bad for the children who are forced to believe in something they don't understand.

Without him, well I guess in your teens you want to find you own independence and get away form anything holding you back and I suppose that religion could be included in that. If they have been brought up in faith then maybe they should have time to think on it themselves, make their own decisions about it. I suppose it could be important for a time :)

I believe so. If they don't learn it young, it's kinda hard to teach it later.
