According to the bible, yes he did.

In Genesis 1:29, God states quite clearly that he made "every" plant and "every" seed to be used by mankind. This means that God created marijuana, coca (which contains cocaine), and poppies (which contain opium) for use by humans. To deny this truth is to deny God's absolute truth according to most Christians.

And yes Jesus did get drunk. In Matthew 11:19, Christ makes the point that his enemies called him a drunkard because he drank wine with the party animals of his day.

no He didn't, the bad things that we see in this world is a result of us and our freedom. God does not hold us captive. whatever we do, it is our choice, He does not force. It is also a test to many people, unfortunately people are failing. and what does weed do anyway but provide a temporary comfort zone that doesn't even last! and for those who don't believe in God, atleast consider your health!
that leafy plant that was created, was just for this purpose, for people to make their own choices, and to see who will obey Him, and who will question Him, and who will disobey. and Jesus drank wine, but nowhere in the bible did he got drunk!and he drank wine after a meal...is that something wrong to do?you got your facts wrong!getting drunk is wrong and it would only hurt people. it's up to you to belive in whatever. hopefully you would allow God to show you the truth.

If you eat herbal foodstuffs, why shouldn't these be eaten? If they were legalised, especially the UK, the police would concentrate on "proper" crime which affects others. They target possessors of such a low class substance when they should be concentrating on the Class A dealers (i.e. heroin), which are harmful. I don't think "cut" drugs should be consumed though either, I think through legalisation quality would improve and provided the skunk varieties remained illegal the police would be better off not being tied down to a desk and proper crime is targeted. I believe alcohol naturally causes more problems than Cannabis, and tobacco I believe has more things to get addicted to than the THC of cannabis (I'm a non-smoking teetotallar) (Legal Disclaimer: I don't encourage any illegal activities)

That is the most lame and immature argument - or excuse.
Jesus drank but did not get drunk (there is a differernce you know).
There are poisons in some plants too - are you going to go out and eat them because they are there?
God wants you to make good choices with the ability to choose that he gave you.

i don't see why not. like creatrix said man made alcohol, God made weed. weed is a plant grown naturally so why not smoke it or put it in some cookies. i don't think it's as bad for you as cigarettes and alcohol and while im a catholic i also enjoy to smoke that amazing plant

Seeing as getting high involves no chemical reactions or much preparation, just picking leaves/buds and smoking them, compared to alcohol's tedious manufacture of fermentation, I'd say yes.

Either way he's not going to stop me blazing up ocassionally.

That's a very good question. It sort of falls into the category of nothing is bad for you if taken in moderation. Abuse of anything is bad for you. Why are all the things which are available, available at all? Everything is good and bad I guess.

I'm sure that Prometheus would agree that this whole 'Fire' thing has been a very mixed 'blessing', and, of course, without fire there's scant chance of smoke.

LOL... well, I'm not into that, but I saw a bumper sticker that cracked me up once:

"Man made beer. God made pot. Who do YOU trust?"
