Truth=I can tell you Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah that all once searched for.

Moses said without the shedding of innocent blood there is no atonement/forgiveness for sins. Leviticus 17:11

look up Isaiah 7:14 emanuel means God with us to be born from a pure young virgin by a miracle sign

Isaiah 9:6 He would be the Son of God, and the almighty God the prince of peace

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins."

the essenes which some say Jesus was a part of -yet you will have to make your own decisions-held to the Jewish Scriptures The Tenach=the Law prophets & writings

this is how I came to know Messiah Jesus=remember Jesus is a friend of sinners-one lie breaks the law=a sinner.

If Jesus is not the Messiah as promised-then we are left with no blood atonement for sins for Yom Kippur-as Daniel states we would go to hell abhored from God forever Daniel 12:2

do u agree? I say you are not Jewish if you reject the Messiah!

wow the first person a muslim who rejects Moses Isaiah and the Messiah Jesus-that is interesting-God said it -so her arguement is with God about a blood atonement for sins.

the next answer is unusual-may Jesus lead you to truth too.

JEWISH GIRL-WHO REJECTS THE MESSIAH-IN THE ARTICLES OF THE JEWISH FAITH BY RAMBAM-STATES "I BELIEVE IN THE COMING OF MESSIAH AND THOUGH HE TARRY I WILL WAIT FOR HIM."

ISNT IT SOMETHING we call people idiots for believing Moses and Isaiah.

AND ISAIAH 7:14 STATES "A VIRGIN (ALMA) SHALL HAVE A SIGN AND BRING FORTH GOD WITH US (Emanuel-in Hebrew)
what sign/miracle would it be for a young maiden to have a normal birth?

their are people that claim that 'bethulah' is the better term for virgin-but it is not
Joel 1:9 " Lament like a virgin (bethulah=living as a virgin but not a virgin) for the husband of her youth."

ISAIAH PREDICTED THIS TOO ABOUT THE MESSIAH- "HE WILL BE REJECTED." ISAIAH CHAPTER 53

would you simply answer the question-you can change your non answer to an answer-
IF JESUS IS THE MESSIAH CAN YOU BE JEWISH REJECTING HIM?

As a people God chose the Jews so that His majesty and glory would be made manifest to the rest of the world. The first Christians were Jews, and the spread of Christianity in its early days was primarily due to messianic Jews. In fact, all the authors of the Christian bible, save one, were Jews who lived in the days before the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 CE.

But, like all other peoples, they (the Jewish people) are held to the same standards that God holds all peoples to. The Jew must acknowledge Christ as their means of reconciliation with a just God.

If Jesus did not fulfill biblical prophecy, if he is not the promised Messiah of Israel, if he was not born of a virgin, if he did not die for the sins of the world and rise from the dead, if he is not coming back as King of all kings to rule and reign here forever- then he is the Messiah and Savior of nobody. He is a false prophet and the writers of the New Testament were either deceivers or deceived. In other words, if Christ is not the Messiah of the Jews then He is not the Savior of the Christians.

No, I do not agree! You are making Jews look blood-thirsty and savage. What you have quoted was written thousands of years ago and there is no more blood atonement! I am Jewish, was born Jewish, and will die Jewish and I reject the Messiah. You are very arrogant to tell someone else what they are and what they aren't. I hope you get the help you need soon.

To buff: You are obviously new here or you would know about David. This is about the 50th post he's made in the same vein about how "you are not Jewish unless you accept Messiah, blah, blah, blah". How would you like it if I posted something every day about how Christians are not really Christians if they don't believe the same things I do? How would you feel if I said to you "I say you are not Christian" based only on my own beliefs. Where is the love? It's not in this post!

We are told that a veil covers their perception so main-stream Jews can not accept Him. However, Jesus, the disciples, and the early church in Jerusalem was Jewish; in fact, it was not until Hadrian banned all Jews from Jerusalem in about 125 AD that Mark became the first non-jewish leader of the catholic church (not Roman Catholic). Their claim of supremacy would not occur until Justinian's time about 628 AD.

Because they rejected the Messiah's first mission, most accurately described in Isaiah 53, they will ultimately accept Satan when he impersonates God, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself to be God (see 2 Thessalonians 2:4).

There are mathematic computations in a hidden Bible code that proves, among other things, Jesus is the Messiah. It was for unbleievers--might say, their last chance.

The messiah was supposed to lead them out of bondage, and the century after Jesus was a terrible one for the Jews. He didn't fulfill the most important prophecy. Rome crushed the live out of Judah during the 70AD war, and the their temple was destroyed. The Jews had good reason for not believing he was the Messiah, the biggest is Messiah's are supposed to save you.

lol, JewishGirl is of course correct. I'm always amused when non-Jews try to define Judaism.

Oh, by the way--Isaiah 7:14 doesn't speak of a virgin. Sorry, but you should consult someone who really knows Hebrew before you conveniently corrrupt my Bible for your own purposes.

I think the Jewish faith accepts Jesus as a prophet. If they accepted Jesus as the Messiah, then they would be Christian?? I say accept the divesity of faiths through out the world and allow people to believe what they want if it helps them through their day.

There is a group called Jews for Jesus. They accept Christ as Messiah, and witness to other Jews about it. But you can be Jewish and reject Jesus as Messiah.

Where's the love, Rachel G???
I think this is a legitimate question. I have often wondered how Jewish people who follow God can be so blind to Jesus' great sacrifice for all of us.
There is nothing wrong with asking questions....that's how we all learn!
