I mean, unless they've studied Christianity. Otherwise, wouldn't they be kind of lost? Even I have to use a Bible dictionary somewhat when I'm reading 18th or 19th century literature and of course renaissance poetry and painting couldn't possibly have much resonance even as art if you don't know what the imagery references. Or not? Opinions? Serious please. Let's start with obvious examples like Dante or Milton.

If you think it has anything to do with Kirk Cameron's Crocoduck, then you must have gotten out of high school on a plea bargain.

Since you deny they exist, what do you think scientists are referring to when they describe the thousands of them documented in the scientific literature?

When I think of the history of Abraham, Egypt existed before Abraham, so the descendants of Egypt predate Abraham's first born son, Ishmael.

So, how did Egypt become a Muslim nation?

This departure from God's Sabbath day cause mankind to turn away from God. The breach in God's Law must be repaired.

The historical biblical Sabbath is a memorial of God's
Creation.

Therefore when mis-guided men departed from the worship of God and the Law of God(including the Sabbath) and transition to Sun-Worship this led the human race into Atheism and Agnosticism(One who believes that God doesn't exist).

The original Sabbath pointed men to the worship of the CREATOR. Something happen when the Sabbath was no longer held in high esteem. The emergence of Agnosticism in our culture.

Could it be that God is leading us back to his Sabbath? Leading us back to faith in God as the Creator of heaven and earth. Leading us back to his restoration and redemption?

What do you think? Agree or Disagree?

Just curious. I believe life exists somewhere besides Earth. I'm not sure if we have ever been visited or not. Anyway if you have had a close encounter, What did they look like and did you communicate with them?

Just an odd question, I know people of all religions/beliefs can be skinny/fat, but I've noticed especially on television (trading spouses, certain religious funds and programs, what i've seen) the devout preacher's wife or devotedly religious christian women often tend to be very heavyset and sometimes obese, why is that? I've seen that often so I'm just curious.

In the Old Testament
At that time Deborah wife of Lappidoth, a prophetess, was Judge in Isreal. Judges 4:4
In the New Testament
There was also a Prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. Luke 2:36

Both of these women and all prophetesses were honored for their devinations, soothsaying and judgements. They also went freely without covered faces--except to their weddings, a tradition still carried on.

Being a prophetess, one who works devinations, does soothsaying and judgements, is a user of Magick as defined by Zoroaster. The Hebrews of both Old and New Testament Honored these women.

Why must innocent people and animals suffer? Why did God create evil knowing full well what the result would be?

Hear me out, it's just a thought;
both claim the earth was void and dark and without form.
Both claim some kind of happening to create light, earth , sea.
both claim plant life first, then sea life, then animals, then men.
same order .
just a thought, but it seems to me science is just starting to find out (not all the facts yet) what the bible in a simple way thousands of years before science told us happened.

this is just a theory, not meant for any other reason then to explore a new possibility....what do you think?

If any Denomination is, which one do you feel is closest to the church set up by Christ and the apostles described in the New Testament? I would ask that anyone who answers this question approach it objectively, and citation of sources would be greatly appreciated.

I am not physically fit however I am incredibly smart but I have screw up in high school trying to fit in with the wrong crowd so that dosent really matter I guess because colleges have no other way of telling beside my GPA, which is messed up obviously. I have live an incredibly decent glamorous child hood. I have everything a child needs at home so I dont usually go out an interact with other kids. I stay at home 24/7; I havent been to the park in my neighboorhod to play ball in like a year plus. I am not expose to things that go on in the daily world so I am worry when I grow older and have to live on my own. My impression of the world is "bunch of nice people" and thats obv wrong because sometimes I watch the TV show cops and I cant beleive some of the things I see. I dont really see how I can do anything. I am not physically fit plus I am very unaware and the brain God blessed me with, I have misused it. I am afraid.
