Just an odd question, I know people of all religions/beliefs can be skinny/fat, but I've noticed especially on television (trading spouses, certain religious funds and programs, what i've seen) the devout preacher's wife or devotedly religious christian women often tend to be very heavyset and sometimes obese, why is that? I've seen that often so I'm just curious.

Well, most of these women are pretty good cooks as well. They also are the ones who make the best food for the pot lucks and are usually the first ones to volunteer to cook a meal for someone who is sick or for the family at home while the mom is at the hospital.
Most of these women grew up in a era when the woman was expected to stay at home, so they put their heart and creativity into their food, which they excel at.

Because they are happy with their lives serving God. They are not dictated by society's pressures and definition of beauty. They have peace of mind and can sleep well knowing that their husband is faithful to the Lord and will not exchange their paradise to some momentary lust. Hard to believe? It does happen.

I have never seen this. I find it interesting that you would even notice this. Maybe because you're spending more time looking for the heavyset women, you are overlooking the many healthy and thin women. Try to be open minded and look for thin ones too!

maybe no night life , they cook for family?
don't have much time to for their self because they are always doing for the Lord.
they also take people out to eat and cook for visiting Pastors etc.

they live in a culture where most people are and need to pray 6 times a day instead of go to the gym.
