The PLO does recognize Israel. Hamas is another story. For myself, I don't, and I certainly would love to dump those welfare queens into the hard cold reality of the world.

While they technically did in 1993 the piece of paper that was created didn't change the hearts of the people. They probably don't want Israel to exist because they are descendants of Ishmael who was Abraham's son but not the son of promise Isaac from whom the Jewish people came.

Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said to her, "Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has listened to your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen."

They do but Hamas does not.

Hamas never will as long as Israel occupies Palestinian land and brutalises and murders Palestinian people.

As long as Israel declares their intent to destroy the Al Aqsa mosque and build their temple on its ashes the Palestinians will declare their intent to destroy Israel and build a state on its ashes.
