If God asked you why he should let you in, what would you tell him?

I found since I been on Y! Answers, I have been challenged with my theology answering questions and some I can't even answer. The more and more I'm being challenge; the more and more motivated I am to dig in the Word of God. Are you being challenged as I am? If so, are you having the same motivation as I am?

From the website below:

"The Creation Museum will proclaim to the world that the Bible is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice and in every area it touches on. This ‘walk through history’ museum will be a wonderful alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums that are turning countless minds against the gospel of Christ and the authority of the Scripture."

An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast tossed him and his boat high into the air. Then it opened its mouth to swallow both.

As the man sailed head over heels, he cried out, "Oh, my God! Help me!"

At once, the ferocious attack scene froze in place, and as the atheist hung in mid-air, a booming voice came down from the heavens, "I thought you didn't believe in Me!"

"Come on God, give me a break!!" the man pleaded. "Two minutes ago I didn't believe in the Loch Ness monster either!"

I asked for proof of trinity, Nothing.

I asked for proof that the bible is the word of god Nothing

I asked for proof of that, well you get the picture Nothing

they claim they speak the truth, yet provide no proof, if it is the truth it should have proof, they get so defensive for no apparent reason.

am not bashing or hating, by the way!!!

This doesn't involve my question, but:

Okay, I just asked a girl what "she thought of the crusades", she said "she didn't know what it was",

so I said the "Christian crusades", than she said "o it's good".

Just because I put the word Christian she jumped to the opinion that it was good.

wow, Christians never stop amazing me.

This is a seriously messed up world we live in regardless of your faith or stance on faith. What do you cling to, what gives you hope for the future?

then why would he tell us to respect and see Jesus (pbuh) and Moses (pbuh) as prophets.... he said the same thing about him self that he is a prophet nothing more... and he said the same thing about Jesus( pbuh) and Moses (pbuh) and all the other prophets........ he could have easily said that he is the only prophet and people would have still believed in him....

Did God deliver him from Saul, while approving of his deception (lying/faking) because sometimes, it's ok to lie? 1 Samuel chapter 21. God hates liars but sometimes it's ok to lie?

Plenty of things touch religion and other such "controversial topics" but why do we worry so much? Granted alot of other people are offended, but do we not have a sufficient understanding to allow ourselves to be able to repel religion if see fit? IN other words, have we not grown up since then? I guess not. People seem willing to cling, regardless. Still....can't we move on? WTF?

One day there passed by a company of cats a wise dog.
And as he came near and saw that they were very intent and heeded him not, he stopped.
Then there arose in the midst of the comapny a large, grave cat and looked upon them and said, "Brethren, pray ye; and when ye have prayed again and yet again, nothing doubting, verily then it shall rain mice."
And when the dog heard this he laughed in his heart and turned from them saying, "O blind and foolish cats, has it not been written and have I not known and my fathers before me, that that which raineth for prayer and faith and supplication is not mice but bones."

It will peer about 15billion years ago into the past and prove maybe even take a picture of the early Universe or the Big Bang! Sorry christians and fundamentalists Genesis will soon be proven to be a childrens story- anyway what do you think? Poor religions will have to go "find themselves"...

PS: If the Big bang is proven - then the universe galaxy planets and we all EVOLVED.
Oh man you guys are going to be so lost, I feel for you all, but thats what you get by not thinking things through

There are many transitional fossils. The only way that the claim of their absence may be remotely justified, aside from ignoring the evidence completely, is to redefine "transitional" as referring to a fossil that is a direct ancestor of one organism and a direct descendant of another. However, direct lineages are not required; they could not be verified even if found. What a transitional fossil is, in keeping with what the theory of evolution predicts, is a fossil that shows a mosaic of features from an older and more recent organism.

Transitional fossils may coexist with gaps. We do not expect to find finely detailed sequences of fossils lasting for millions of years. Nevertheless, we do find several fine gradations of fossils between species and genera, and we find many other sequences between higher taxa that are still very well filled out.

For example, I know that some Christians concede that Hinuism, Islam and Judaism are "real" religions, even though they don't consider them to be the path to heaven, but still do not even consider that either WIcca or paganism are real religions.

If so for you, why?
