God dividing the Red Sea so the Israelites could cross it to safety from the Egyptians, who were led by Moses.

Elijah prayed for rain under King Ahab's rule and it rained. Prior to that Elijah was fed by the ravens and drank by the brook.

Daniel was saved from the hungry lions and his three friends were not burned in the fiery furnace.

Jonah was saved from drowning by being swallowed by a whale and was vomited on te beach where God told him to go.

mana from heaven, the Jews got very bored with this trick. Its just not the variety in the diet most people enjoy. Its pretty sad that God with omnipotent powers could give them at least one day of Chili con carne.

Hmmm.. what is the Jewish lamp? the one that burned for many days on just one day of oil?...

Or, how about God providing for every need of the Jews as they walked in the desert for 40 years...

The Hebrew god jehovah provided much-needed assistance to his chosen people,particularly in their liquidation of the indigenous tribes of ancient Palestine; see the Book of Samuel. Be forewarned it is highly grisly.

The feast after the sermon on the mount....providing mana (sp?) in the wilderness while the Jews were wandering....read the Old Testament...there were plenty of them.

Elija (Elisha? can't remember which), after calling down God's fire from heaven and trashing the prophets of Baal, ran for his life from Bathsheba.

While he was hiding in the bush, God send ravens to feed him and renew his strength (physical and spiritual).

When Job's life was going well, God killed all his kids.

Only god knew that Job didn't really need those kids and God provided him with all new kids.
