Praise be to Allah, the best of creators, surely the best of guidance...

Allah sent us prophet muhammed (pbuh) the greatest man on earth to our nation and im so dead proud of that. My first wish is to meet him in apradise and cry out to him. He (pbuh) had one wish that Allah granted every prophet. But he never used it in this worldy life but saved it up for the hereafter for the forgiveness of our nation. Subhanallah what a great man was he.

ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA confirms:

"....a mass of detail in the early sources show that he was an honest and upright man who had gained the respect and loyalty of others who were like-wise honest and upright men." (Vol. 12)

GREAT WORDS ABOUT THE PROHET MUHAMMED (PBUH) FROM GREAT PEOPLE...

GEORGE BERNARD SHAW said about him:

"He must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it much needed peace and happiness." (THE GENUINE ISLAM, Singapore, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936)

MAHATMA GANDHI, speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in YOUNG INDIA:

"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission.
"These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."

EDWARD GIBBON and SIMON OCKLEY speaking on the profession of ISLAM write:

"'I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, AND MAHOMET, AN APOSTLE OF GOD' is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet has never transgressed the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion." (HISTORY OF THE SARACEN EMPIRES, London, 1870, p. 54)

Speaking on the aspect of equality before God in Islam, the famous poetess of India, SAROJINI NAIDU says:

"It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: 'God Alone is Great'... I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes man instinctively a brother." (S. Naidu, IDEALS OF ISLAM, vide Speeches & Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)

MICHAEL H. HART in his recently published book on ratings of men who contributed towards the benefit and upliftment of mankind writes:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels." (M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978, p. 33)

K. S. RAMAKRISHNA RAO, an Indian Professor of Philosophy in his booklet, "Muhammad, The Prophet of Islam," calls him the "PERFECT MODEL FOR HUMAN LIFE." Prof. Ramakrishna Rao explains his point by saying:

"The personality of Muhammad, it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes! There is Muhammad, the Prophet. There is Muhammad, the Warrior; Muhammad, the Businessman; Muhammad, the Statesman; Muhammad, the Orator; Muhammad, the Reformer; Muhammad, the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad, the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad, the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad, the Judge; Muhammad, the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is alike a hero."

Good point,
here are some other points also that prove him true Prophet of Allah almighty.

Holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, was an illiterate, orphan the most innocent and harmless person in the society, in his young age. He was not son of a king like Buddha.
So all his such qualities prove that he was a true Prophet of Allah almighty, the holy Qura'n is the Revelation of Allah. As he was not in position to read and write, he never read any book like holy Bible or Torah etc.

Thats a good point and here is another one. A tradition narrated from him

During the first 40 days of gestation, all the body parts and organs are completely, though consecutively formed. We can notice in Figure 2.1 that the organs begin to be formed, assembled, and the fetus appears twisted. The Prophet Muhammad, (peace be upon him), has informed us in a hadeeth that: In every one of you, all components of your creation are gathered together in your mothers womb by 40 days. (Narrated in Saheeh Muslim and Al-Bukhaari).

In another Hadeeth, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: When forty-two nights have passed over the drop (nutfah), Allah sends an angel to it, who shapes it and makes its ears, eyes, skin, flesh and bones. Then he says, O Lord, is it male or female? and your Lord decides what he wishes. (Muslim).

Professor Simpson studied these two hadeeths extensively, noting that the first 40 days constitute a clearly distinguishable stage of embryo genesis. He was particularly impressed by the absolute precision and accuracy of those hadeeths. Then during one of the conferences which he attended he gave the following opinion: "So that the two hadeeths that have been noted can provide us with a specific time table for the main embryological development before 40 days. Again, the point had been made repeatedly by other speakers this morning that these hadeeths could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of their recording."

Professor Simpson says that religion can successfully guide the pursuit of knowledge. The West, as we said, has rejected this. Here is an American scientist who says that religion, namely Islam, can achieve this with success. By analogy, if you go to a factory and have with you the operation manual of the factory, then you will be able to easily understand the kind of operation that goes on in that factory, thanks to that manual by the factory designer and builder. If you do not have this manual with you, chances are much less that you will have good understanding of the various processes there.

Professor Simpson said: "It follows, I think, that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion, but in fact religion can guide science by adding revelation to some traditional scientific approaches. That there exist statements in the Qur'an shown by science to be valid, which supports knowledge in the Qur'an having been derived from Allah."

This is true. Certainly, the Muslims can lead the way in the pursuit of knowledge and that they can accord knowledge in its proper status. Moreover, Muslims know how to use knowledge as a proof of the existence of Allah, May Allah be Exalted and Glorified, and to affirm the Messenger ship of Muhammad (peace be upon him).

What else do you need?

Soon will we show them our signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord does witness all things? (Qur'an 41:53).

He did not need to say he was a god to get what he wanted -- little 9 year old girls, everyone else's wives, daughters, etc., and anything that caught his eye. He said he wanted it. He said that whatever he said was law. Presto! He got his way.

He called Jesus and Moses prophets in an attempt to win over some of the 'people of the book', that is, the Christians and Jews. After all, he stole many Jewish and Christian ideas, perverted them, reworked them, and produced the bull doodies that we know as the Koran. He was not even creative enough to come up with his own religious ideas -- Muhammed was a false prophet, a gigolo, a pedophile, a sadist, a murderer, a thief, a war monger, and a hate monger. He was also very delusional and downright dumb. Have you ever read your ridiculous Koran and Hadiths? They are full of contradictions and downright stupidity. Ever heard of the 'wheat tree'? Or the cure-it all medicine, camel urine? Snakes with four feet? Do these things sound like something someone who was very high came up with? Guess what...they're all in your holy books.

Muhammed was a moron…

God led me to answer this. As a Christain, the biggest difference is we are taught that Jesus is God's son. God's
son Jesus died on a cross for us that our sins may be forgiven and we may have eternal life. To merely label Jesus a prophet ignores the fact of the price He paid for us, a horrible and cruel death he didn't deserve but did so because He thought we were worth it. Even if you were the only one, Jesus would have died on that cross just for you.
Please check into Christianity and you will find many other Muslims that turned away from Mohammed and became Christians and why. I'm sure praying you will. Angie

Jesus was not a prophet. He was and is the only way to eternal life. If there was a respect then why did Jesus not tell his people to respect Mohamed as being a prophet. Mohamed may feel that he was nothing more than a prophet but Jesus knew who He was, Son of the Living God

I understand what you are saying, but in the Law of Moses in the book of Dueteronomy. Moses spoke of a particular prophet that God would raise up prophet like Moses in Duet 18:18, which was in reference to Christ. Because the scripture said that God would raise Him up among His brethren (which are Jews). The tabernacle and offering up a sacrificial lambs, bulls, and goat were all symbolic of the one who would come and offer His life as a sacrifice for all mankind. This man which would come would be superior to all men and prophets born, including Mohammed. Because in Numbers 24:17-19 it says, "......there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a "Scepter" shall rise out of Israel. Verse 19, "Out of Jacob shall come "he" that shall have dominion..." These passages point to a ruler rising up out of the Jews with dominion and authority. For Jacob says in Gen 49:10, "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between His feet, until "Shiloh" come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be". "Shiloh" means "Messiah". What seperates Jesus Christ from all other prophets is that He is the Son of God come down in the flesh. What the Son has to say takes pre emminence over everything and anyone, just like in Dueteronomy 18, because all power and authority has been given to the Son, because He has laid down His life for all of mankind. Do you know any other prophets which have done this?

To a Christian Mohamed is a false prophet precisely because he said to respect Jesus only as a prophet.

In John verse 8:58 Jesus says: “before Abraham was, I am" This is the divine name of God that signifies he is the fullness of being and without beginning or end. Jesus says he is one with the father. Jesus is Divine.

One can believe Jesus or one can believe Mohamed but one cannot believe both.

Because it is a lie! And just like Satan, the Father of the lie, who called God a liar, he was calling Jesus a liar! As Jesus himself said that he was the son of God... so to call him a prophet isn't showing him respect anymore than it would be if anyone was to call you anything but what you are... in spite of your insistence to the contrary!
Not to mention that (if you did the proper research you'd find out that) the Roman Catholics are the ones that trained Mohamed from childhood to be what they wanted him to become to further their own agenda which was to capture Jerusalem and to give it to them on a silver platter but it back-fired as surely as any attempt to deny Jesus as the son of the true God will! And that in spite of anything men do or say about it! To say otherwise is to call the Bible a fraud and God is clear about it that it is the only book on earth claiming divine inspiration and that nothing else should be added to it! Let alone a very imperfect man of violence that preached doctrines contrary to what the God of the Bible approves of. I'm sorry if that is not what you want to hear but we all must hear a lot of inconvenient and uncomfortable truths in a system ruled by Satan, before we finally get rid of that veil of confusion, lies and half-truths which we are spoon-fed almost from birth, often dictated by the country in which we were born and by the traditions our own parents were stuck worshiping. It is up to us all to rise above all of that and to use that one and only book inspired by God to make sure of all things, especially in matters of life and death... Everlasting life and death... May the peace of that God of love, wisdom, power and justice be with you and inspire you to do just that! Thank you!

Maybe he was a very shrewd false prophet who know people could use this very argument to defend him - so he chose to conceal his true feelings about Jesus & Moses and write favorably about them.

You do get more followers by throwing roses than rocks.

If Mo was a true prophet, why did he change the Isaac/Esau story from what Moses originally recorded?
