It didn't have anything to do with suppressing women, other faiths, and other races so I very seriously doubt it.

Geese ... I wonder who put the thought into the DNA to mix it up and separate from the apes?
If so, then why doesn't it continue to do so in producing a higher form of the current shape faster?
So, why does time have to take so long in mixing stuff up and evolving a better human being?
Surely 'it' (DNA) gets the picture there is a fault in the current make up of it?
Or maybe we just need to communicate with the 'DNA' as we've found our GOD at last! It's a shame DNA doesn't yet have a voice!

Some say that the first humans were able to crack open the brain cases of dead animals and eat the brains, thereby contributing to the cognitive development of the human being and his separation from the great apes. Is this likely to be in the bible?

he he...
that's really funny...
i've heard this before, but i've never heard that it might have something to do with our cognative development...
jesus says in the bible that a seed has to die before it can grow into a plant...i don't think that the bible had alot of insight into genetics....

Yeah, it's in Evolutions 4, 16-17.
"And verily did the genome be modifiedeth by the viruseth, and maneth did splitteth from the apeth."

The bible says that evewry animal was created exactly as they are today. This is obviously not true as there no mules or ligers in biblical times.

Uh, nope. Don't think I can remember anywhere in the bible that says I evolved from apes.

Yes, there is that bit about Jesus' sword-mouth in Revelation.
It's a metaphor for something having to do with DNA.
