Do you find those who stereotype others to be insecure about themselves, or do you think stereotyping others helps you achieve a greater harmony with humanity?

What I was speaking about is Radical Feminism. I do know it is possible to be feminine and still believe in equal rights. I agree with that stance. I was speaking only of radical feminists. There are those who have told myself and others that we are too feminine. That we should make our careers top priority. I was not meaning to insult anyone. Only to hold a discussion. Thanks for ALL answers.

Love is giving without any thought of getting something in return. I think you agree with this universal definition?
Yet you Christians, love Jesus because he promised you heaven in return. He's the only way to heaven.
If Jesus promised you nothing, would you still love him? I doubt it. You would still fear him. But not love him.
I conclude, you're in love with that "bridge to heaven", and not Jesus himself.

The "New Testament": Pagan revenge

Between G-d's own miracles and the Jewish teaching of His Word, the pagan priesthoods of Egypt, Greece, and Rome were steadily losing their power over the gentile populations. They decided to fight back by creating a new religion, one that would claim to be the fulfillment of the Hebrew "Old Testament," yet would bring back the pagan lies in a new disguise.

I consider myself to be an agnostic atheist, meaning I believe that the theist God(s) doesn't exist, but I don't deny any supernatural beings possible existence.

There is this guy at my job that is an atheist. He doesn't believe In God or religion. However, he claimed that he has a ghost living in his house and said that other people saw it too. He said that it could be some sort of energy left by some person, because we humans are a walking ball of energy.

You have to understand that this guy is a freakin genius, he is very strange, yet the smartest person I've ever met face to face. I asked if he did drugs or suffered from schizophrenia but he doesn't as far as he knows. So I asked if I could come over and see his ghost. I wonder if he was joking with me, but he said he wasn't.

What do you guys think could be the explanation for such a phenomenon scientifically? Considering that he doesn't have any illness or drug problems? What is your theory on ghosts?

Men which do you prefer?
It seems lately in our society that feminine women are seen by other women as weak, feminists seem to want to be men. They do not like doors opened for them, do not like to be called mam, or treated in the old respectful manner. I grew up in a family where men would not curse in front of a lady. Times have changed. Your input please?

Recent polls say the average marriage in America only last 2 years. I personally think the American view of marriage is not good. It seems like divorce is no big deal anymore. What are your view on marriage? Should a husband and wife stay together at all cost?

Accepting that God created our souls to have free will. So we have choice to do as we wish. All our perceptions are formed by the knowledge we have to form our opinions for which we act. Therefore, to disobey God we must have had insufficient knowledge, and so made the wrong choice by eating the apple from the tree of knowledge? I accept that God wishes us to have free will as to whether we love him or not (as we also like others to appreciate us), seems reasonable. The question is why would God create beings that could come to the wrong conclusion? Surely it is in his power to create beings that know why God is worth appreciating? Is it simply the case that God likes to produce some beings whom have to earn their knowledge without divine gift?

After canonizing Galvao, the pope hugged Sandra Grossi de Almeida, 37, and her son Enzo, 7. She is one of two Brazilian women certified by the Vatican as divinely inspired miracles justifying the sainthood. She had a uterine malformation that should have made it impossible for her to carry a child for more than four months, but after taking the pills, she gave birth to Enzo.

“I have faith,” Grossi recently told The Associated Press. “I believe in God, and the proof is right here.”

5000 miracle cures cited
Benedict pronounced the sainthood of Galvao, a Franciscan monk credited by the church with 5,000 miracle cures, while he sat on a throne of Brazilian hardwood, surrounded by Latin American bishops and choirs of hundreds.

Does this mean people are getting religion and faith mixed up?Has faith means 'something you believe in'.And how can you have a 'false' religion when for example you brush your teeth in the morning religiously (remember religion means a way of life.)?

I've always felt that if a large part of a group condemns morals of another group, the group of the condemners should at least give the proper example. If they don't, they for sure have no reason to even have a judgmental opinion about others.

There is a large group of Christians condemning homosexual sex. There is a large group of Christians condemning abortions of others. There is a large group of Christians condemning pre-marital sex of others. It's all about sexual morality.

In the USA there are 4.1 million babies born each year. 37 % of those babies is born out of wedlock. There are 1.3 million abortions each year.

With only 10% of the population being non-religious, how do I match these numbers with the Christians that constantly seem to be focussed of the sexual morals of other groups?

Do atheist women really each have at least 3 babies each year?

Since they had slaves in the early days and then segregation after that.....

If someone calls them all "not Christians" then isnt that self righteousness or arrogance.

Or just the latest cop out ?

Were ALL the Germans in Nazi Germany, Austria and elsewhere all "Fake Christians" when they supported the HOLOCAUST.

Were all the Christians in the Spanish Inquisition "Fake Christians" ?

I guess Christianity is way too difficult since you have to be perfect to be called a Christian.......

Should we be concerned with that? Modesty has gone the way of justice, and honesty. Nothing seems to make a woman blush today as it once did. Should we be concerned?
Dr. Alice Von Hildebrand believes so. What do you feel?

Okay so actually facts can be proven to be true or false but why is it that some people preach about religion like they know it's the right way to live life? NOT ALL BUT SOME people say that their religion is the right way to live and they act like everything in the bible actually happened and get pissed when you question it. Some people don't even look at it as faith, some say it like it's the complete truth that can't be proven to be false. So for the people who this applies to, can't you just admit that none of this is for sure but that it's just good to have faith or something to believe in to keep you going? Can't you just admit that maybe we're wasting our time but that it's just better to be safe than sorry?

Why are we fallen souls?
If God is perfect, it follows that he would create perfect souls whom have perfect knowledge as he does. If God creates imperfect souls, it follows that God has a purpose for such an act. If so, what is it?

I know you don't choose your family and you can't really help what they believe. But you do choose best friends- the next closest thing to family, and in some cases, someone who is closer than family.
So could you really be best friends with someone of another faith? What conditions would there be on this?
