God wants a relationship with you

Any god wants worship and lots of followers. There are many gods the Bible says. You can make a god of anything--money, TV, the internet, food. Whatever occupies most of your time is your god.

The most high God, the Creator, is the only one deserving our worship. Only He can give us life--past, present, and future.

He wants us to live worthily and faithfully so that we can return to Him after we die, or at the Second Coming. "Remember, the worth of souls is great in the sight of God." (Doctrine and Covenants 18:10--you guys may not believe in the Doctrine and Covenants, but they said any religion) He loves all of us and wants us to return.

Seems like tebone3...and AdamsRib...said it pretty well.
It seems to me, that God wants us to Love One Another.
I think He wants us to learn to be Patient, kind, caring, peaceful, slow to anger, slow to judge, or not to simply judge others at all.
I think He wants us to learn, as well as to teach these things to others.
I think Jesus said it best,"Love your enemy as yourself".
Though I suppose in this day and age that is a difficult thing to do, for many, as all the hurt and pain many of us have experienced; and still to this day many are ,right now, experiencing...growing up, or even as adults. It is dificult for many to even Love themselves, I suppose that is why, for those who are able, it is sooo important to share their love...not lust or something else, but true unconditional love and compasion with everyone they ever encounter.
Jesus said, by Loving your enemies, you heap coals upon their heads.
For that matter I am sure Mohammad, Budda, and several of the other "like" dieties, or whatever the people who follow them, call them...or consider them...No offense intended.
I suppose they all tried to teach how important it is to love, everyone.
But I am so convinced in my Faith, in Christianity, In the Lord God Almighty, and in His One and Only Son Jesus Christ, who I am sure is the Messiah, which the Jewish Faith, many ( who are not or have not converted) are still awaiting...., is the right one (God/Religion...No God is not religion, Religion is not God...I am not trying to imply that here at all), as I am convinced, that Jesus, God Incarnate, walked the earth ,showed us we could live without sin, was tempted by the devil/ Satan, and He overcame, only to, Freely Give Up His Life, to die on the Cross to wipe out every sin for every Man, Woman and Child...whether they lived before, or after Him.
And then too I am Certain, that through God, the Father, who is Christ, Jesus, He beat physical death, went down, took back control of the world, from Satan, which Man gave up when they (Adam and Eve) were tempted , to eat the fruit of the tree of Knowledge.
I suppose I could go on and on.
But mainly God, The Lord God Almighty, wants us to Love.
Rather than to Hate.
To respect others ideas and opinions, and I suppose ultimately to Leave it up to Him, to do any and all punishing for those who may be wrong in their life endeavors.
We are to counsel, but I suppose it is ultimately up to God to condemn.
That means, if we see an Athiest, or a Christian or any other chosen way of life bad mouthing another...
It is not for us to step up and bad mouth them, but to forgive, to try and understand, they were probably brought up way differently than us.
Oh its hard to do.
I do not know how many times I have been Judgemental, or Quick to Judge another, and then go back and Edit whatever I wrote, and try and write something of tolerance...
But we are like children...We are all still learning.
As well as teaching.
Love, the most important thing is Love.
