Jesus instructed elders in the congregation to be the husband of one wife. Polygamy for Jesus? There is no marriage in heaven. For Jesus told us those resurrected would be as angels in that they would not marry or be given in marriage. Jesus is an angel. He cannot marry.

beleive in santa claus, the boggie monster that lives under ur bed, ghouls, goblins and in general all monster?
Because if u beleive in a freaky creeature such as god who lives up there and listens and can see every1 and made the world in 7 days. Then u must also beleive in all these other weird creatures and ghosts. THen surely they must exist also.

If Christians truly believe the Bible is the word of God, then why do so many of them eat bacon, pork, etc.

I have never seen anything in the Bible that permits the eating of the flesh of swine after it has been forbidden in the Book of Leviticus (and by the way, I do know the Bible, I used to be a Christian)

Don't tell me that this is from the old times or whatever....If the Bible is the Word of God, who would dare to go against it, whether it be based on the past, present or the future.

Some Christians come out with some rubbish that "this and that" are based on olden times and doesn't apply to today.....but surely, if it's 'the Word of God' don't you think God would have set commandments from the time of revelation of the Bible to the end of time, to never be altered, and to forever be adhered to, until the Day of Judgement.

Science has NEVER proven evolution. In fact, some scientists have shown that the theory of evolution is made up of half truths and assumptions that do not fit the requirements of hard science. Data is always subject to the interpretation of the person who interprets it therefore if you believe that their is no God, you will interpret the data accordingly...just as those who believe there is a God...you will interpret the data accordingly. The simple fact that neither side can prove beyond any doubt their particular stance proves that it is all results from a subjective viewpoint.

As a Christian however, I have all the proof I need living within me. I can't prove it to you or to anyone else scientifically but the knowlege is there.

Has anyone seen this insane lady of the Westborough Baptist chuch that goes around to soldiers funerals with her 100 person parish and pickets with signs that say things like "thank God for dead soldiers" and stuff like that? I would beat the hell out of these people if i was ever given the chance. Do these people really believe that this is how their supposed God wants them to act? They say that soldiers die because God hates f@gs. That makes no sense at all. Soldiers die because we are at war and every now and then, somebody is going to get shot. I was over in the Mid East for the war when i was in the military so believe me... I know. If God hates America so much; MOVE TO IRAQ WHERE GOD LOVES THEM!!! I hope the Westborough Baptist Church's God chokes on the bullcrap they are preching. THANK GOD FOR DEAD WESTBOROUGH BAPTIST CHUCH MEMBERS!!!

If evolution is true, then how come over 40% of people in America don't believe in it?

Do you honestly think that many people could be stupid?

I have studied this "theory" and it doesn't take a genius to see that it can't be true.

Go to a creationist website. They prove that it isn't true. Mainstream scientists ignore this evidence though. The problem with scientists is they only pay attention to evidence that supports it and the ignore the evidence that says it isn't true.

Science is not a gathering of facts, rather, it is a gathering of some facts, a filling in of the blanks (unknown) and the rest is just theories. To know how old a specimen is, science has to theorize many catalysts that have enacted upon said sample. Such theorizing would be: Heat, Humidity, Moisture, Cold, Ground temperature, and many other atmospheric related catalysts. Since no one was around to keep record of these daily occurences, science has to make Theories as to how much effect these catalysts could have had when determining the age of lets say fossils. Science never claims these discoveries as "Fact" Although some lay people misinterpret these findings as "Fact" when in reality, they are only Theories. Do your homework and you will discover that 92% of science is merely conjecture. There is very little that science can actually prove, one way or the other. Their latest attempt at explaning our universe' beginning is called "String Theory" ..

My father n law is getting remarried to a catholic, so I was wondering if the believe in the Bible. If so, then why do they only follow some of it and not all of it. God says himself that the entire Bible is inspired by Him. That being the case then all "Christians" should follow all the Bible. Right?
