B, partially true. I can't tell you exactly which narratives are 100% true but you have to remember that the Torah was written after the Babylonian exile. Secondly, there is a Jewish literary device called midrash which you must be consciously aware of when reading the Bible.
There are many accounts in the Bible, which employ a literary device used by Jewish Old and New Testament writers called Midrash. Midrash is the substantive of the Hebrew word darash which means to search, to investigate, to study and, also, to expound on the fruits of the research. The aim of Midrash is to draw from Scripture a lesson for the present.
Midrash could also be defined as a "reflection on Scripture in the light of the actual situation of God's people and of the developments of God's action on its history." It proposes to explain the meaning of Scripture in the light of the later historical experience of God's people. This kind of interpretation often opened the door to embellishments of the sacred accounts, anachronisms, and a freedom in handling and maneuvering the data of tradition that were at times a little too candid and certainly very imaginative.
Peace and blessings!

I came here once and ask a q similar to yours only difference was i just wanted to see others opinions because i totally believe it happened.
I cannot imagine that a truth of such magnitude could stand the test of time and therefor be construed as fable.
There were a (million witnesses) don`t you consider had this truth been handed down thru the generations that it would have come down as it truly is?
Reasoning and logic from the Holy spirit plus prophesy is revealed.

Literally true historical event.............show evidence
God's Word is 100% correct. He has witness this to be personally - in that he saved my soul, and that His Spirit witness to my spirit. Outside of personal testamony there is the fact that the Bible shows itself to be the Word of God, by;
And the heavenliness of the matter, the efficacy of the doctrine, the majesty of the style, the consent of all the parts, the scope of the whole (which is, to give all glory to God), the full discovery it makes of the only way of man's salvation, the many other incomparable excellencies, and the entire perfection thereof, are arguments whereby it doth abundantly evidence itself to be the Word of God

A. Literally true!
You want evidence? The Bible is itself evidence, but for you personally to know and accept that as fact, you need faith in the living God through Jesus the son.
If you ask with a sincere heart, God will reveal the truth of the story to you and also His reality. God bless you in your quest!

B and C are the answers that the largest population of Jews believe -- that is the Reform Jewish movement (and unaffiliated Jews generally are more in line with Reform than other streams of Judaism)..
Your questions will be a year's study - look at www.urj.org for a study group near you!
Good Luck!
