Science has NEVER proven evolution. In fact, some scientists have shown that the theory of evolution is made up of half truths and assumptions that do not fit the requirements of hard science. Data is always subject to the interpretation of the person who interprets it therefore if you believe that their is no God, you will interpret the data accordingly...just as those who believe there is a God...you will interpret the data accordingly. The simple fact that neither side can prove beyond any doubt their particular stance proves that it is all results from a subjective viewpoint.

As a Christian however, I have all the proof I need living within me. I can't prove it to you or to anyone else scientifically but the knowlege is there.

Christina, unfortunately no. This is a cross section of the religious psuedo scientific mumbo jumbo that far too many of them think is correct.

It's frightening isn't it..?

Evolution is called a "theory" because in science we want to always maintain an open mind and remain open to changing our beliefs based on new evidence. However, evolution is extremely well documented, and is as close to "fact" as anything in science ever gets.

The fact that you have knowledge inside of you that contradicts the knowledge that other people have inside of them should give you some pause. They are just as sure of their knowledge as you are of yours, and you can't all be right.

That's what science is all about. It isn't a body of knowledge, it is a method of finding out the truth regardless of personal biases. Every scientific conclusion isn't perfect because of the personal biases you mentioned, but the overall process of the scientific community tends to eliminate the biased conclusions over time as new evidence is uncovered that is inconsistent with the incorrect conclusions, and new theories are advanced that account for all the evidence.

In scientific terms, the beliefs you have inside you are called "hypotheses". A scientist would ask, "if this hypothesis were true, what would be the observable manifestations in the world? What other hypotheses could possibly account for those observations? What would constitute evidence that my hypothesis is false?" Then the scientist would seek out the evidence that would confirm or refute the hypothesis.

Of course I don't know you, but I'm going to hypothesize that the beliefs that you hold so strongly were taught to you by your parents as a young child. I hypothesize that if I find people with differing beliefs, they will also have been taught them by their parents when they were young children. Of course, some people have conversion experiences and change their beliefs later in life, but that's the exception, and conversions can go in any direction.

Evolution is just an elaborate theory, plain and simple. The world takes it as truth when it is not.

Here is something for those who believe in Darwin inspired evolution -- explain the utter lack of transitional fossils. There have never been any found in the last 150 years of scientific research and fossils collected. Shouldn't there be just a ton of these, ever since animals evolved into something new?!! I guess it just happened over night, huh.

What is meant by transitional fossils, for those who aren't clear with the term, are fossils that are in transition from the old creature to the new, or the states of change from one thing to another.

Oh yeah, and what about dinosaur prints and human prints being found side by side in the rock strata. And what about Myan and other civilizations who have artwork containing images of people fighting off dinousaurs. Hmmmm??

Now that's a fact -Never proven.

Anyway, the Bible science is extraordinary and complex where i think some may fall short from the real truth of Gods absolute beyond anything we can imagine science.
No, we can`t prove it until we are over there.

What they see with the eye is outward in opposed to inward out.
We are so far advanced in the end of this earth age that your quote or some what of a question seems a little bit, what can i say here? maybe, old,but no offence please.

I would rather believe 1+1=2 than someone was eaten by a whale and spit out in tack at a later date. Science isn't perfect. We don't always know all the answers. At least we are willing to say that and try to fined the truth. The bible is full of contradictions. When two stories conflict that means one of them is false. You have put your faith in a book full of falsehoods ( LIES ) . Even the story of the nativity has three differing versions. That means two are lies. Can you pick out the lies in your high school math book. Faith is great but don.t put it in a book full of lies.

Ok, science has never proved creation, too.

No, you have it in the fiction book Bible and the words of your preachers.I don't know if evolution is true, but theres a lot of proof that Christianity is a LIE:

Many pagan religions predated Christianity. So, if you cant prove the knowledge or tell it, thats because it doesnt exist maybe?

Christianity is how we got here. Christianity is how the US was founded. Christianity is how we learned to be stable by loving as family and community. Not until our talk of evolution, our replacing of Christian fish with Darwin trash, and our worship in survival of the fittest did we start overglamorizing Hollywood and vices such as porn and overindulgence. What do we want to do? Have faith in a God of love who had his son come to save our sake or do we want to stare at a fish that we once were and fall back into the water?

Yup, science has never successfully PROVEN evolution. There is, however, a lot of evidence in support of it. If you choose to use your faith as justification for not believing in evolution, that's fine by me. As long as you don't claim that you can disprove evolution with legitimate science, we're fine. For me, evolution doesn't compromise my faith. I'll stick to understanding DNA and natural selection in a purely physical light. It seems presumptuous claiming to know how God chooses to do his work.

Look at it this way. The theory of evolution is alive. It continues to grow as science continues to gather new evidence.

In contrast, God is dead.

You'd probably be surprised to learn that 90% of Christian doctrine comes, not from the Bible, but from the interpretations, assumptions, and half-truths of theologians. Consider the Trinity, the Rapture, etc...

The Bible is a 2000 year old book full of absurdities, atrocities, and contradictions. Your apologists rely on interpretations, assumptions, and half-truths to make absurd rationalizations, so that the faith of the flock is not shattered. Explain that!
