Let's say for the heck of it that god created everyone and everything....Then why did he create the other planets in our solor system? What's the point, (from a religious standpoint) of having them here? Why create the milky way? Only the earth and mankind would matter to god, right? Then why create the cosmos?

It takes 10 lies to cover one lie......

The Trinity is false and now they have to find ways of proving something that isnt there.

As if God would keep such a fundamental thing hidden from our understanding.

GOD IS ONE and has no partners or parts.

i really admire muslims for their way of praying, i mean not the way they do it but the number of times they talk to whom they believe. because many claims 'hey im a christian', but when is the last time they prayed to God surrendering all and spend time for His words?
..but this makes me thoughtful..
for muslims, are you praying to who you believe because you really want to and you believe that there is really an allah that hears you, or do you consider it as just a routine? im not questioning you coz i want to argue, im just curious..

and for my fellow christians, what do you think of it?

China alone has more people than North America, South America and Australia added together. The same goes for India. And Europe has basically lost interest.
So think about how hateful it would be to say a deity hates anyone who doesn't think like you. If your church is like that, it's time to get a new church.

Or do fundamentalists believe that the human condition is no better today than it was 200 years ago?

I think God must have really had it out for people who lived prior to the scientific revolution.

Millions of God's children have died of diseases that scientists have since figured out how to prevent or cure. Why didn't God just tell everyone how to prevent or cure these diseases from the beginning? Did He have something against people who were born before the scientific revolution?

And if some Christians are to be believed, all of God's children should be proselyting as much as possible. So if God gave scientists all the answers so that there was little or no important research left to do, wouldn't that allow all those busy scientists to do a lot of religious work instead?

Why is it that only Catholics and Charismatics become 'possessed'?

Why is it that only people who have read a lot of alien abduction stories from the New Age section become convinced they've been abducted?

Why is it that only Hindus or people who have sought out past life regressions seem to see evidence of Reincarnation.

And why is it that only Atheists and Skeptics have any sense at all?

I try to do the right thing all the time. I help everyone possible at all times. I put anybody that needs something before me. I give money to several charities and do community service every weekend. I do all this to try to help our beautiful world. I don't do it for a god or so I could get everlasting life as most people do. So if god is real will I go to hell? Or because I wont kneel and worship the tyrant I wont get in?

I volunteer to decorate the bulletin board at church. The other day I put one up that has brightly green background paper with musical instruments on it. I added verses about making a joyful noise unto the Lord and I added lyrics from different songs. On the display table I added a mini organ, mini piano, bells, mini drums, angel figurines, etc. etc. A woman at the church acted funny, i could see the look on her face and I picked up a bad vibe from her when she read one of the lyrics. I had written "Forever I am saved by your love" in reference to Christ's love for us. Then I added brightly colored strings of lace to the table and she acted like that was wrong to do that. I just wanted it to be festive and joyful. The object was that the Lord gives us many muscial talents and we should use our talents for the Lord. What do you think? Was I wrong with the way I decorated? Serious replies only please!

This morning I asked about those who believe Christ died on a pole, as opposed to a cross One person told me that many beleive He was taken down from the cross, given medical treatment, after which He went to France, where He died.

Does anybody know about a group that believes this?

If so, are there any groups, sects, individuals who believe in that timeline. Or perhaps there is more than one biblical timeline and various parties believe in and argue the merits of the various timelines.

Can anyone tell me what this donkey says?

How can Christians treat the writings in the Bible as fact? The fact is that donkeys CANNOT talk....so that is a blatant lie isnt it?

In the bible doesn't it say that I am your God and you shall have no other Gods before me? Then why do Christians put Jesus before God? Jesus isn't God, he is the son of God, thats totally different than being God. I just don't understand why you make Jesus out to be something he is not.

How does electromagnetic/biofeedback cameras effect you perception on spirituality? You can't see an aura, but that camera can. Does this mean it doesn't exist? If this is one thing that is real, that can not be seen, then is it possible that there are other things that are real, but we can't see?

I respect all peoples spiritual journey (involving a Source, or not)....it is just a question.

To me, Chrisitianity is not just a mere religion, it is a personal relationship with the Lord 24*7 whom I can relate to anytime, anywhere (not just in church) and who loves me despite who I am.
