Like (so often mentioned) every Christian who did something bad, ever?

Inspired by the ever-insipid Galationwarrior:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuLs4baFy0z.bJXZ7nOSrg_sy6IX?qid=20070511072605AAZHQSr
and his quote: "Atheists who are former Christians are those who never really became a Christian, there are a few of them in churches today."

Isn't that really convenient and also very insulting?

Did evil = not a real Christian
Left the faith = not a real Christian

I could be wrong but I don't think the commandment 'Thou shall not kill' (pardon me if this is not the exact wording) says anything about this being in mere reference to humans. Killing is the ending of a life, animals have life too. They have thoughts, emotions.....does God find this acceptable? Why would he make them live just so we could kill them? He could have provided a nutritious form of food similar to animal flesh without having to end the life of the creature each time smoeone is hungry

I don't want this to be a discussion on the ethics of eating meat, just wanting to know why God's law does not apply here.

And if there is another verse in the Bible somewhere saying it is acceptable to do so, then why does this contradict the commandment?

Help appreciated

Paul is perhaps the greatest unsung hero of Judaism.

He knew that if he did not do something drastic concerning the “renegades” then the precious covenant given to the Jews could be lost forever and redirected to the followers of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah.

After reading about the two sons of Isaac where it says Jacob would even use deception to get the blessing of the covenant from his father it is not hard to see how a very religious Jew would do whatever was necessary to make sure Judaism maintained the covenant.

He "converted" and then helped introduce some very powerful and wise changes to the message of Jesus that would insure the theological superiority of Judaism over these "renegades:.

Rabbi Saul introduced Mithraism and polytheism into the foundation of faith to attract the pagans and gentiles of Rome -- because Jesus said he was sent ONLY unto the Jews.

Matt 10:5-6)--- Jesus sent out these 12 after giving them instructions: "Don't take the road leading to other nations, and don't enter any Samaritan town. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Matthew 15:24) He (Jesus) replied, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

(Matt 18:11) "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."

“It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you and judge yourself unworthy of everlasting life, we turn to the Gentiles” (Acts 13.45-51)

----------------------

Rabbi Saul cut the renegades off from the Holy Covenant

Genesis 17:9-10 ---Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

Galatians 5:2 ---- Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

----------------------

Rabbi Saul negated the Divine Law thereby leaving Christians without the ability to fulfill the holy covenant and establishing the laws of God on the earth.

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us--for it is written, "Cursed be every one who hangs on a tree" Ga 3:13

"And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is accursed by God; De 21:22,23
--------------

Abraham was chosen to be a Great Prophet of the Creator of the Universe.

Abraham had two sons who were both to be blessed with a Holy Covenant .

The Holy Covenant are promises from The Lord of Abraham in return for taking on the responsibility to "Make Allah/God known to the World" and establishing the “laws of God” on the Earth.

Ishmael - first son - ISLAM
Issac - second son - JUDAISM & Christianity

JUDAISM is the covenant through Isaac.
ISLAM is the covenant through Ishmael.

Rabbi Saul(St. Paul) Created his own Covenant .

"I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half of the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth." -------Thomas Jefferson

"In every country and in every age the PRIEST has been hostile to liberty; he is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own." – Thomas Jefferson

"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and importers led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." ------ Thomas Jefferson

Pedos / Kiddie Fiddlers?

Over the last few weeks I have seen many answers on here where people say "God still loves you" or "God loves everybody".

Then I was watching some of the NBC Dateline To Catch a Predator on Youtube, and seeing that several of the creeps were saying things like "God will judge me" or "I have betrayed the Lord"

This got me thinking, does God love Pedophiles? If so how can he square it with the kids whose lives they ruin?

...As a hypothesis, if we take the Bible for granted, I think he could *and* he would want to create such a rock. After all, he is the one who has created a being whose will he can't subdue (without altering the being, but then he could also make the rock lighter). I think he can set barriers to himself, and he also does it.

I think that, if he existed, he would be quite powerful, but not *all powerful*. Which is actually a point in his favour, making him more interesting as a character and less guilty of the mess on Earth (...and other planets).

And then I also don't think that, if he exists, he would send the non-believers to hell, since talking to them would be quite a funny pastime, for both of the parties.

But then, here, I guess I'm already not talking about the Christian God anymore...

hey all...,

Most people realize that there is only true God. Throughout history, this one ture God has appointed many good men to tell others about Him so that humans eveywhere may turn away from false gods and worship Him alone. Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace to be upon them) all spoke about this one God and worshipped Him alone.

In the Gospel According to Matthews, 26:39 (King James Version) we are told that Jesus \\\'fell on his face and prayed\\\' to God. And in the Gospel According to John, 17:3, Jesus declares that the one he prayed to is the only true God. This very God speaks to us in these last days in His final Scripture which He will safeguard from corruption. God announces in His book good news to all those who believe in Him and do right. He says:“ Surely those who say: Our Lord is Allah and afterwards are upright, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the Paradise which you are promised.

How Did Pagan Customs Mix into Christmas and Easter?
It began hundreds of years ago, when the Church changed the Bible. . .

The "New Testament": Pagan revenge

Between G-d's own miracles and the Jewish teaching of His Word, the pagan priesthoods of Egypt, Greece, and Rome were steadily losing their power over the gentile populations. They decided to fight back by creating a new religion, one that would claim to be the fulfillment of the Hebrew "Old Testament," yet would bring back the pagan lies in a new disguise.

Thus the "New Testament" was written, in Greek rather than Hebrew, and attached to the original Hebrew scriptures to try to change their meaning back toward paganism.

The "New Testament" tried to change G-d from One, as in the Hebrew scriptures, into a "trinity" as in Egyptian cults or the eastern religions of Hinduism and Buddhism. It described Jesus as G-d in a human body, like the pagans always described Pharoah and other wicked kings. It declared G-d's Law to be a "curse" that no one can truly obey, announced that there must be a "mediator" between G-d and man, and pretended that salvation could now be achieved outside the Law.

To blind the gentile nations, the "New Testament" also warned people not to learn from the Jews, declaring that Israel no longer possessed the true, complete Word of G-d.

In the Bible, the book of Daniel warned of an evil power--a false religion--that would believe in the true "G-d of fortresses... plus a god its fathers did not know." This religion would "speak bizarre words about the Most High, wear out the holy ones (the Jews), and plan to change the festivals and the religious Law."7 The Christian Church has indeed replaced Passover with Easter (the pagan holiday of Astarte and Ishtar) and Hanukah with Christmas (the pagan winter holiday).

Since then, Christian paganism has expanded to include Christmas trees, Easter eggs, and so forth.

Noone can deny the artist of a beautiful painting .
Noone can deny the craftsman( or carpenter) of intellegently& beautifully designed furniture .
There is no problem believing the "unseen designers"
***
Likewise, ,,Is it intelligent to claim
Lets say " a flower " is formed by itself,,by nature , (which is formed by soil,heat,wind,air,..many many " unintelligent" units )
Can an unintelligent thing can form a "well-designed, symetric, beautiful, colourful, smelly being" ????
Or does the DESIGNER uses the NATURE to CREATE beings ?
