Yes, God is above and beyond our sins. He wants us to act righteously and not sin. He commanded us to love our neighbors as our self - which pedophiles are not doing - but he still loves them and calls them to repentance. That is the mystery of God's love - it calls back even the worst sinners!!

There is a sense in which God loves everyone in the whole world (John 3:16; 1 John 2:2; Romans 5:8). This love in not conditional – it is based only on the fact that God is a God of love (1 John 4:8,16). God’s love for all of mankind results in the fact that God shows His mercy by not immediately punishing people for their sins (Romans 3:23; 6:23). If God did not love everyone, we would all be in hell right now.

Yes, God so loved the WORLD- so that means everyone- however is love the same thing as God being pleased with everything we do, and it is ok? NO- if pedophiles continue to abuse children, and never repents and turns they will be judged. God loves people but there still has to be punishment for sin- so that is why God sent His Son to be sin for us, die on the cross, however if no one accepts Christ then they are condemned and will be eternally punishment for their sin. If you have a child and He disobeys what do you do? Just say you love them without discipline? Same thing with God.

He does love everybody....
I know, that doesn't square with us, especially as in the examples you cite, but we are only humans and not God.
"My ways are not your ways" he tells us.
For more info, see my friend The Mailbox of Love.
And not to defend pedophilia, but honestly, I believe a lot of those people are already living in hell here on earth. Can you imagine if your sexual desires could only be fulfilled by having sex with a child (it makes me nauseous to even write that)? So once you've acted on it, and the urge is satisfied, can you even IMAGINE the self-loathing that must be there? Makes me shudder to think of.
And yes, much more so for the poor innocent victims, but it's sad all around....
As far as how God "squares it" I have absolutely no idea.
I do know that He is the soveriegn fair and righteous Judge, and by His nature could never be wrong....so we can only be thankful it's not our job to square it, but His, however He sees fit.
(I think that's what bugs people so much about God...they don't like Him having ALL the power.)

We receive Gods love, when we are born again of the Holy Spirit, then we have grace, Gods grace is sufficient, you will experience a truly repentant heart, over your sin, when this happens you will be truly transformed, you will see, with such clarity, the error of your sin, that it will compel you, to convict yourself to a Godly way, of living, so that you may be able to, live a Blessed life, until the day you are in Heaven, with the Father, in your Glorified State, Praise God.

Yes. In general he gives us the opportunity and choice to accept salvation. When someone sins, there is time for him to repent and change his ways and make amends, but when a person's sin becomes routinary or someone is juggling his opportunity to be saved (i.e. do bad deeds now, in the end ill repent).. his heart is hardened more and more each day.. and is harder for him to feel god knocking at his heart. Soon he loses his time for salvation. God is a just God too. He reprimands as needed.

The bible tells us that God hates sin but loves the person. Sin stinks. But God loves the person the bible tells us that God so loved the world that he gave his onlly begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3 verse 16. romans 10 and 9. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead thou shall be saved. So a person must turn from his evil ways unto God. And God will help and deliver him.

God does love everyone, and no one that he loves is "good". We are all sinners. I grant you that there are atrocities that seem to stand out, and retribution for wrongdoing does belong to God. If you had a child an that child grew up and molested a child, would you stop loving him? You would be dissapointed, there would be retribution and consequences, you would have sympathy for the victim and might even offer any help you could, but any parent would tell you they would still love their child and would encourage them to live a better life.

God loves everybody, because we are all his children. No parent loves only his obedient children and does not love the others. He tries to improve the others. The disobedient children then become the parents "projects" pending completion. Try to look upon the so called bad people not as God's failures, but as His projects pending completion.
