I do believe in God and since the Bible quotes Jesus as calling God his father, I would have to say he is male. But it does not matter, God is still God.

The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit are all one, therefore God is male because we know Jesus for sure was male.

If the main religions call god a he, and if they hate women for being evil, then what do you think?

God is neither.
Gal. 3:28 -"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is NEITHER MALE NOR FEMALE; for YOU are all one [person] in union with Christ Jesus."
Any references to gender, as with references to ears, eyes, arms, etc., are purely for our benefit because he cannot in our limited way understand a spiritual being.

Neither. I think "he" transcends human sexuality. He is referred to as a man because the Biblical society was patriarchal.
