Illogical. The existence of God in no way infers the existence of "goblins" and such. Also the existence of God does not necessarily mean that the world was created in seven days. You are making the mistake of believing that the little you know about religion can be generalized to the rest of it.
In short, you're not being smart but only showing foolishness and immaturity. Try and cultivate some respect for your fellow man, and if you must mock people at least try and do it *well*. Nothing is so annoying as an amature.

Do people criticize you for not believing? You consider it your right and privilege to not believe..You didnt say if you believed in the big bang theory, or whatever you believe in.
If man did not believe in a higher power, from the beginning of mans existance, however you or anybody else believes
things came about, or were created, or were banged into existance, If there was no fear of doing right or wrong, I dont believe anyone would exist today..
these rules most people try to live by,to be either rewarded or punished, by what ever higher power has kept us in existance,
otherwise we would all be killing each other, thinking there is nothing wrong with it. NOBODY STOPPED YOU FROM NOT BELIEVING, so why would you try to ruin it for someone else.
If I want to believe in Santa or the Easter bunny , or God I will do so, because it is My RIGHT.
Dont spoil it for some kid that has a good time at Xmas,
no matter how old that :kid" might be.
I really believe, that if hypothetically, someone put a gun to your head, you would say , God, save me. or maybe not..
You would say sorry I called you a boogie monster,, PLEASE SAVE ME, weather he exists or not.

I believe in a higher power.. I also believe in the "spirit" of Santa .which is simple.. be kind, happy and give onto others.. I also for several reasons believe in ghosts.. ghouls and goblins can be named other things .. like demons and devils.. with faith in God I must also believe there is a Satan..Monsters? well yeah there are those too . like the ones who rape and murder children or just for a thrill kill and old couple.. yep monsters. And the boogie man? well depends.. there are several men who I sure wouldn't be happy with finding under my bed.. Ted Bundy.. Son of Sam.. you know men like that.. could be monsters and boogie men are 1 and the same...
Btw.. the bible says God made the world in 7 days.. since you seem to know about that can you tell me just how long is a day to God?

God does not "live up there"
God did not make "the world in 7 days" - literally
You have a certain image of God...and that God does not exists, however, God (not your image) exists.
If you have never experienced love, I suppose you would say believing in love was silly.
Just as the first scientists were investigating radiation, germs, etc...you would say it was silly. Something I can't see could harm me...how preposterous.
There are many things in this world that exists but science has yet to see it or prove it.

Well yes... the boggie man under my bed scares me. He'll grab your feet if you stand beside the bed too long. He'll grab your hand or arm if it hangs over the bed too. You are sooooo going to get coal in your stocking this year. Yep talking bad about Santa like that.
Spiderman. Spiderman. Does whatever a spider can.

Do you have extensive documentation confirming the existence of these other creatures? Eyewitness testimony of over 500 people that say they saw them simultaneously? God is freaky to you, because you are not in relationship with Him. If that were the case for me, I'd be terrified of Him, too.

Really? I must? That's odd, because I don't.
You do realize that's akin to saying that if an Atheist doesn't believe in God he doesn't believe in anything, right?
I believe in God but none of the other things you tried to mention.

Mythology (and I'm not saying that God is part of that) is more to do with reality than you would think from some of the characterisations.
