Christians in bull's-eye in new 'hate crimes' plan
A fast-tracked congressional plan to add special protections for homosexuals to federal law would turn "thoughts, feelings, and beliefs" into criminal offenses and put Christians in the bull's-eye, according to opponents.

Rev Sheldon's organization is releasing a poster showing Jesus as a wanted fugitive, for "crimes" under the planned "hate crimes" legislation.

Just more Kool-Aid drinkers in Government..Everything Jesus warned us about is coming true daily..

Most of us make use of logic once in a while, have you ever used logic on religion and actually find some aspects of your religion silly?

Maybe some will say religion doesn't have to be logical, but do you actually think you will be punished by your benevolent God for missing sermon on a certain day?

I've been rasing my son Christian, for his 6 years of life...I have recently gotten engaged to a wonderful man, who is Jewish. Neither of us are very active in our religious communities, but I believe Jesus to be God's son, he doesn't....is there a happy medium? Neither of us are willing to convert. We can deal with the celebrating Chanukah & Christmas...but how do we teach my son, and any other potential children we may have?? Thanks!

Crying Statue Draws Attention From Church

ORLANDO, FL (AP) -- A statue of the Virgin Mary at a Central Florida retail business has drawn attention from the church and the faithful after it apparently shed a black tear.

Worshippers have visited the store, asking for private prayers. The store has roped off the area where the statue is located. The owners have decided not to sell it.

Christians do not need laws to tell them what to do any more than Jesus needed laws to live a holy life. Most of us do not have this faith that we are truly new. What do you think?

Would you worship or pray to the the Sun if you needed heat or pray and worship the clouds for rain?

Or do you worship or pray to anyone?

Is you life based on wishful thinking, luck, whatever goes, or are you a karma believer, what goes around comes around..
Lastly:
Do you believe you have complete control in whatever happens to you in life? if not why not?

As we all know faith/religion is a very powerful force.

It can lead some people to great acts of selflessness and charity, while for others it can be a catalyst for bloodshed and suffering.

This being said maybe some people are better human beings with religion while others contribute more to society if they were secular.

Just a thought….

With over 40 authors, written over a 1500 year span, written by Kings, peasants, philosophers, fishermen, statesmen, scholars... from prison, from the wilderness, while travelling, in a palace, in the military, in a dungeon. Written during war, during peace, during different moods, from 3 continents, in 3 languages. Subject matter includes hundreds of controversial topics. Yet, the biblical authors speak in harmony and continuity from Genesis to Revelation. There is one unfolding story. God's great plan of redemption for man. (and man's habit of ignoring and separating himself from God.)

The old testament was translated into Greek in the 200s BC (called the Septuagit). Many copies were dispersed around the world. The Dead Sea Scrolls date back to between 200 BC and 100 AD. These scrolls have been discovered throughout the 1900s and contain most of the Old Testament, including many chapters and books. Comparisons with the 2000 year old scrolls, proved to be word for word identical.

For those of you who experience the presence of the Holy Spirit all the time, why do you think some others who claim to believe in God and Jesus do not have that same connection to them? When I try to explain what it is like to truly be with God, most people think I'm bonkers.
