hahahahahaha I guarantee that the christians will be knocking on NASA's door to donate money to fund space exploration so they can.

I doubt it very much due to the fact that this new planet that was discovered is about 20 billion miles away! Can you imagine the length of time it would take to get there? So "no" missionaries would not be sent and furthermore save them from what? If there is intelligence on this planet, they might be more advanced than us...go figure. Have a great day!

I hope not. If there's intelligent life in another planet, they probably will hide from us because they probably don't want us to ruin their planet as we have ruined ours.
Did you know that a planet similar to Earth was discovered by the European Space Agency? They are now planning to send a mission to that planet to see if there is anyone living there.

Sure but most likely the planet wont be newly discovered and the scientologists will have already taken care of that planet.

I agree with one of the other answers, they will send some Zyptxbnian Missionaries to save our primitive race from ourselves. And they will teach us the Zyptxbnian Missionary position. Hard to describe, lets just say you need 4 arms and 6 legs to do it.

Im pretty sure it would take some one in thier 20s to reach there by the speed o light to reach there at age 41.
62 if they return. SPEED OF LGHT, we cant do it.
My guess it would take 2 generations to get there with 1 dying on the way and a child to make it back at age 40-60 or so. NEVER HAPPEN

Lets see. Over 100 trillion lightyears away. We can not even travel 1/4 the speed of light - so your are looking at 400-500 trillion years to get there. Seems like it would be a little pointless to try....
Besides, if they are at all intelligent, they already know about God. He reveals Himself to anyone who will listen.

that's just silly.
but probably. that's what missionaries do right? they assume they know how to help everyone without learning about them first...then they go and ruin a perfectly good culture.
way to cookie-cutter everybody.
what a boring place the universe will become when everyone thinks the same way...
