Oh yes that's a big problem. Now how can the media and everyone in the west call this Hindu 'court' act as fanatical. Yes how can someone who has no connection with being Muslim called 'fanatical'.
It would have been so easy if the court was in a Muslim land. May be the USA could have even considered invading that nation in its so-called 'war against terror'.

Now that's a real problem. May be the west will have to just digest that and wait for all to forget it! How sad!

Shocking. I never would have know that it was against their laws. Who would know that? It isn't a Muslim country. I thought the Hindu were more open minded and tolerant. The kiss might have been a bit over the top, but they are totally dressed, no wardrobe malfunction or anything. Gosh.. I am so glad that I live in the U.S. where such minor things are no big deal.

The presentation is wrong. It is not the Hindus who are arresting the Hollywood actor. It is a "Democratic-Secular-Republic" Magistrate's order. In democratic India the order can be challenged in Sessions,High and Supreme courts. In the "Dictator"-Mobocratic countries sorrounding India, the actor might have paid his head as a Price.

Gupta earlier viewed television footage of the event, which he called "highly sexually erotic," saying the pair violated India's strict public obscenity laws.

Think about this.

Many Americans want foreigners to follow the laws of America.

So, why can't Americans follow the laws of countries when they are visiting?

Richard Gere knew that he was in a different country and that his kiss would upset them.

Now if a foreigner came here to America and walked naked on the street then he would get in trouble right?

You have to understand that different countries have different rules.

It's called diversity.
