Would you worship or pray to the the Sun if you needed heat or pray and worship the clouds for rain?

Or do you worship or pray to anyone?

Is you life based on wishful thinking, luck, whatever goes, or are you a karma believer, what goes around comes around..
Lastly:
Do you believe you have complete control in whatever happens to you in life? if not why not?

I'm not a believer and of course I wouldn't worship or pray to the sun or clouds. I have no power over the sunshine or rain. Those things work on their own. I don't worship anyone or anything. I don't 'pray' because I don't feel I am directing it to anyone/anything that will change anything for me. I do wish for things but I don't expect anything to come true unless I work really hard for it, even then I'll never know if it will come true. I don't actually believe in 'karma', just that if you do enough 'bad' that eventually it will catch up with you because other people will find you out or punish you somehow.

I know I don't have complete control over anything in my life because I have to take into account that I live around other people, nature, etc.. I cannot stop a car from hitting me or make other people in my life treat me the way I want them to.

No, I do not worship or pray to the Sun or the weather or even the earth itself (as some seem to think all of us Pagans do)

Yes, I do "worship" in a way. I don't "pray" as most people see prayer being done.

It's not based on wishful thinking, luck (though sometimes I feel lucky), or whatever goes... Yes, I do believe in Karma - You do reap what you sow.

No, not complete control in whatever happens TO me in life. I can't control someone else doing something to me. I can only have control over myself and my own actions... and sometimes that doesn't always work out the way I want it.

"Would you worship or pray to the the Sun if you needed heat or pray and worship the clouds for rain? "

No. They are objects, nothing more, as subject to physics as I am.

"Or do you worship or pray to anyone?"

No, there is nothing perfect, and worship is to be reserved for that which is perfect.

"Is you life based on wishful thinking, luck, whatever goes, or are you a karma believer, what goes around comes around.."

No, I do not use belief or faith as a mode of thinking in my life. I either have evidence on which to base a conclusion, and thus know a thing with some level of confidence, or I do not hold an opinion of a thing.

"Do you believe you have complete control in whatever happens to you in life? if not why not?"

No, because free will is an impossibility in the universe in which we find ourselves. We are as subject to physics as is the rest of the universe. We cannot change the way physics works.

I don't believe in any deities, and I worship and pray to nothing. The sun is wonderful but I don't think a gaseous ball will listen to "prayers."

I don't base my life on wishful thinking. I think "luck" is just coincidence or serendipity. I think karma is a nice idea, but I don't think it really occurs.

I believe I have mostly complete control over my actions. I cannot control everything surrounding me and my life, nor can I control the actions of others, but I can always control my reactions to the situations around me.

I do not worship or pray to anyone. I sure wouldn't pray to the sun for heat, or the clouds for rain. I'd just wait for the weather to be right to give me those things.

I have control of some things in my life..some things are out of my control

My life is based on reality.

Praying for rain and the sun to come up is just silly.

No one has control of anything except how they act and feel emotionally (and not everyone has that much control).

It makes a lot more sense to "worship" the sun, which is literally the source of all life on this planet, than the gaseous vertebrate humans have invented and named "God."

Why does it all have to be a matter of belief and worship?

I grew up in that kind of thinking and it did me no good.

I ask a lot of questions and fortunately along the way I've learned a few things about observing how my own emotions and preconceptions contribute to what I think of the answers. And in learning that, it becomes easier to look past myself. I'd like to think that I'm gaining some clarity as to how the world functions.

But one cardinal thing I've learned, there's no harm in being wrong. Just in refusing to consider other points of view.
