Neither Jehovah's Witnesses nor their publications pretend to know the exact time of day that Jesus was resurrected. The bible documents the date of Christ's resurrection as Nisan 16 (the year 33 C.E. according to bible scholars).
See Matthew 28:1-15 and Mark 16:1-8.

I am no longer a Witness, as I was disfellowshipped some time ago, but I can answer your question. Witnesses do not claim to have any EXACT time when Jesus was resurrected. No exact date, no exact time, and they never have. What they claim is the Jesus' reign began in 1914, [“the times of the Gentiles “ended, and Jesus became King of God’s heavenly Kingdom].
To arrive at this date, the Witnesses take the account in Daniel 4 and apply a 360 day year for each of the seven "times" for a total of 2520 years. They add this date to 607 B.C., their date for the fall of Jerusalem under Nebuchadnezzar, and arrive at 1914 A.D.
The problem with this answer is that most acheological sources don't go with 607, but rather 587, or 587. Witnesses though trust the bible over the archeologists, as the archeologists have made mistakes in the past, especially in the way of dates.

The crucifiction of Christ was when he was between the ages of 29 and 33 years; thats whats known, not any specific, absolute date. We know he resurrected 3 1/2 days after the crucifiction, or at least we know he was "in the tomb" for that length of time, and we know he hadn't yet gone to the Father when Mary was at the empty tomb that three days later, because Jesus told her so - when he said don't touch me, actually what he said according to the manuscripts is: "don't hold me up, I'm in a hurry - I'm on my way to meet the Father".
So we know of the approximate time after the crucifiction.
As far as your answerer who says that we also think we know what date he would be returning, and mentions years that people guessed that Christ would return -
Keep this in mind, please: Over the years, esspecially when something horrible occurs, like wwII for example, lots of people thought that surely it would have to be the end of the world, and they would guess a date using whatever method they thought they had to use, BUT:
according to Scripture, the last generation of this earth CAN NOT BE until the Tribe of Judah moved back to the area of Judea and set up a State there. This event did not happen until May 15. 1948. We are in the final generation, which is called the "Generation of the Fig Tree". The entire prophecy of the end generation begins where you first hear of the Fig mentioned in the Bible: Genesis, when Adam and Eve tied those fig leaves to cover their private parts that had participated in the sin they committed:
That sin comitted in the Garden has quite alot to do with this end generation, including who would be present here on earth at that time. Its a rabbit hole that goes alot deeper than most realize...........

It is a matter of knowing the Jewish calendar. (remember that Jewish days began at sunset and their months were lunar months)
Jesus was at the annual passover meal with his apostles on Nisan 14. He was arrested after the meal and crucified later that day.
He was dead for parts of 3 days. Nisan 14th being 1 day; Nisan 15th being a second day, Nisan 16th being a third day.
Nisan 14th began on sunset of the evening of the first full moon after the spring equinox.
NOT a JW, but hope this helps.

Jesus was crucified on Nissan 14, we commemorate his death (as he asked his followers to do) on that date every year. According to the calendar this year his death was on April 2, 2007. That's the date we commemorate.
If he was resurrected 3 days later, that would've been around April 5 or 6, but that's not the day we observe anyway.
We observe the Lords Meal every year, as a Memorial of Jesus' death and when he sacrificed himself for mankind.

Well the Bible provides us with a clear date of when Christ died, and how long it was before he was reserected. All that is then needed is to translate the Jewish calander to our current yearly calander.

I'm sure they have what they consider reliable sources for coming up with that information. I had never heard that before. And really, what difference does it make.
I believe that the true birthdate of Christ was April, 6. So what?
