I would say the best way to define Christianity is to say that Christians believe in one supreme being, and yet, beyond our comprehension is that He is mysteriously three Persons in One: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Also, Christianity is centered in believing that the Bible is the inspired and authoratative Word of God.
Muslims have the mistaken belief that Christians worship three gods. Their religion has no room for the concept of the Trinity (that God is mysteriously Three Persons in One). They believe that God is Allah and that God could not have possibly fathered Jesus Christ, because in their understanding God cannot/does not marry and have children. Unlike Christianity, Islam does not view God as a loving Father who has a relationship with his children. I could go on because it is a great question, but I've gotta work! Christianity are those who are following Jesus Christ.

I'll allow a Muslim to define Islam.
However I need to point out that Galatians chapter 1 tells us that Mohammed was a false prophet and that Islam is a false religion.
You see Mohammed claims he got his message from an angel. The angel Gabriel, so he claimed.
Galatians chapter 1 also applies to Joseph Smith founder of the Mormon or LDS religion, which is NOT Christian.
Why? Because Smith claimed he got his new message from an angel. An angel named, "Moroni", or so he claimed.
Which is spelled "moron" followed by an "i".

I grew up in a hard core Christian household and I'm still unsure by definition its meaning. Islam is submission to God. Those who follow the Quran, Islamicly submit their whole selves to the will of God; definition of Muslim. Yet most Muslims don't realize that in order to submit themselves to the will of God they must be Christ like. From my understanding of the bible anyone who lives his life as Christ did has/is submitting themselves to the will of God; as did Moses and Abraham. Unfortunately both relgions today are so corrupted. But I hope this helped you out.

Do unto others as you would have done unto you. If you do that then you are doing pretty good. Also, if you contribute to the upward movement of humanity then you are doing what you are here for. That is, if you are helping humanity to progress, and if you are not a criminal or a parasite on society by choice then you are probably doing okay. I believe Jesus accepts all of us who are good, decent people. Even if you are Hindu or secular humanist or Wiccan or Buddhist or whatever. I believe the founder of Islam would knod his head, "yes," to what I've written here as well.

It all started when adam sinned.Because GOD is holy he cant have sin in his presence.so man got seperated from GOD.
So GOD needs something to pay the penalty of sin.JESUS was the perfect sacrifice for our penalty.So JESUS came to earth lived among us and died for us on the cross.JESUS was the penalty.
GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.
A christian is someone who has a relationship with GOD through JESUS.

I don't. Why is it necessary to define any religion? Why can't we all just believe what we believe and keep it to ourselves? I think there'd be alot less war that way.
