I mean it is said that the soul of the person returns to GOD when they die as they have accepted the LORD. But what happens to those who are mentally unsound? How to they accept GOD?

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." -- Anne Coulter, Christian Peace Activist

Conquer,Convert or kill them.

"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.

This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault.

The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.

The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God. These pagans must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)

If it came out that he was a homosexual beast? After all he was seen with plenty young men on their knees, just in front of him.

I don't want to show disrespect, but I think he was gay, and therefore preced about sins and stuff. He know what he was, so he thought he should teach people not to judge.

What should happen to a pastor does this: Chris Martin pastor of Lahaina Baptist church covered up an act of child abuse by a deacon who is still a deacon at his church and tried to get the victim jailed. He hired an unethical lawyer named Kenneth wong to try and discredit and intimidate the victim. Kenneth Wong said "I would do that to my children if they acted up (physically abuse)". Chris Martin lied about the victim and lied to the victim.

Really I mean it is anyone else tired of all the back & forth bashing they see on Y!A?

This is the Religion & Spirituality section, both of which are about (in my opinion) finding the answers to the hard questions in life. The unsolved riddles we all face. . . what is man? What is his purpose? What is good? What is evil? What is the road to happiness? Where do we come from & more importantly WHERE ARE WE GOING as human people together in our common destiny on this small planet. Regardless of how we think this planet or man on it came to be, regardless of what path we take to find our answers can't we help each other on our journeys?

Isn't that what religion and spirituality are all about?

Before you say you agree but it is all the religious peoples fault because they don't see it that way, I am Catholic. Before you disagree & say as a Christian I should know better, if you believe in Christ you know he died for everyone & he left us ONE commandment love God & One another.

Rudy Zachary former pastor of Lahaina Baptist church told me that "we don't allow Rap music at Lahaina Baptist Church because blacks are crude and vulgar, I know how black people are. this music is of a perverse nature". Also Chris Martin the current pastor covered up an act of child abuse and tried to get the victim jailed. He hired an unethical lawyer named Kenneth wong to try and discredit and intimidate the victim. Kenneth Wong said "I would do that to my children if they acted up(physically assault)". Chris Martin lied about the victim and lied to the victim. Xians report me for abuse in order to cover up their sins. Shame on u devils.

I went to Catholic school and now I'm a college student. I would like to know how people do not believe in evolution and also why people assume just because someone believes in evolution that it means they don't believe in God. Maybe Evolution is God's hand at work??? But the way evolution is put down in this country kinda reminds me of how the Catholic church put down science in the Dark Ages.

People like to say that prayer works. I have seen no evidence of this. I know nice Christian people who pray and there whole life nothing is answered. I also know people who are bad people who have everything and only worship money. Please don't say that the Lord works in mysterious ways that is the biggest cop out ever. I do believe in God but I think you are punished or rewarded when you die not here on earth. Anyone who tells me there prayers were answered it is just a matter of odds. What about people who are not religious and everything goes there way how do you explain that? Thanks for answering my question.

I know there are many ways to dispose of your body after you die. I know of the common ones such as burial, donate body to science or cremation. However, my question deals with the more uncommon and creative ways of what one can do with themselves when they die. What are they?
