a)99 out of 100 people will say "The shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line" cos that's what they see.
b)Only 1 genius, say Einstein, knows that it's a curved line, not straight.
In the above situation you would choose option a because you can see it, or all your friends did the same. Your choice turns into belief & then conviction. Then it becomes the truth.
All churches are about belief in things you cannot see. Whatever the truth is, if you believe in something good & noble, it works for you.

It wasn't easy, but I had a book that helped me out with finding a good church. It is "9 Marks of a Healthy Church" by Mark Dever.

It was not hard. I followed the suggestion of what I read in the scriptures to prayer and it will be "opened unot you." I als followed James 1:5 which said if any on you lack wisdom, ask of God. I did so and found the answer to my search. It was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In 35 years, I have found only one (1)
Church that teaches the deeper thought and truths from the manuscripts. Only one.
Thats about as sad as you can get.
But not surprizing: in Revelation 1, John is told to send a message to each of 7 churches; Christ is only happy with and only approves of 2 of those seven churches, and they both teach the exact same thing:
Who are those who say they are jews but do lie and are of the synagogue of Satan?
Well, they are called "Kenites", and are the blood offspring of Satan himself;
God wants his children to know these things, and even states clearly that he doesn't approve of any of the churches that do not teach it.
So, if you follow the example of Jesus Christ, wouldn't you want to be part of a church that He approves of?
If your church does not teach this, then I'm sorry, but you are not approved of by God.
Yep, one church in 35 years; That says too many things to even write..................

All churches should teach the truth it may not be what you would consider the truth according to your beliefs however we all have different opinions so try to show some consideration when attending different churches till find the one that you prefer to attend. Love all!

After prayer, God provided a place of worship (we, the followers of Christ are the church) that teaches His word for my husband and myself.

It is really amazing how many people have posted that they can't find a place that teaches the truth. We are attending a place of worship that exalts God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit not religion.

It is a non-denominational group of people who love and care about each other and are His church. We asked God in prayer to lead us to this group of people and He did..

I haven't found a Gnostic Christian church in my area yet, in spite of the multimillion people here.

*sighs*

In the end though, depends on your religion and what you believe the truth to be. All religious truths lead to the same ultimate truth of the One True God of All in All anyways.

It has been my experience that NO church has a monopoly on "truth" as every person experiences things differently based on who they are and how they were raised.

To paraphrase Obi-Wan Kenobi, "...You'll often find that a great many truths depend greatly on our own point of view...."

Actually it was very hard. I spent most of my 39 years looking for that one. I finally found it when I was about 34 years old. We don't call it church though. We call it Temple.
