I mean....come on.

It is so incredibly UN-Biblical

So incredibly corrupt.

Peter was not a pope.

Yeshua was not born on Christmas.

We are not to call rapists "father" or pray to mary

All their money goes to cover up sex scandals.

Plus, was the "true church" meant to be the #1 richest organization in the entire world?

I won't even get into that the writing on the Pope's hat = 666 in 2 different languages....ok I did.

But really, HOW strong is the power of denial? Seems invincible.

Religion is a mental disease like depression, or schizophrenia. There are medications for those problems... do you think anyone will ever come up with a pill to cure religion?

I am concerned about my church. Lately, we have been blowing up far too few abortion clinics. What is the point of being christian if there isn't senseless and hypocritical murders? Also, my pastor has not been raping nearly as many boys as he used to. He used to be good for 7-8 sodomies a day. Now, he may only bust 1 or 2 nuts. Also, I caught one of the parishoners actually being nice to gay people, blacks, and non-christians.

Anyone know a good church where kiddy rape is plentiful, we hate everyone different than us, and we can go out for a weekend of killing people, because killing an unborn fetus is wrong. But blowing up doctors, mothers, and unborn babies is holy.

Praise Jebus, All hail the man who allows me to be a complete butthole and all I have to do is say "Sorry god, I sinned" and POOF! all is forgiven.

Now, bring it on fundies. Nothing pisses you off worse than the truth

I don't understand why priests don't get married and why catholics give up stuff they eat. They really have no reason to. In 1Timothy 4:1,3 it says: "1 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings that come from demons.
2 These teachers are hypocrites and liars. They pretend to be religious, but their consciences are dead.

3 They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanksgiving by people who know and believe the truth.* Now doesn't this sound like the priests that we hear about all the time now? what do you think?

I have been studying the bible recently and I found many conflicting accounts of Jesus in the New Testament. I just found a website that highlights some of the conflicting accounts. The website is http://skeptically.org/bible/id6.html
So my 2 questions are; Which book can be interpreted as more accurate? If my approach should not be directed torward literal accuracy, then how can I get the best account of Jesus' visit to earth?

Public schools are supported by taxes. Many states will not allow you to sue them. Some have caps on the award you can get from them. But abuse happens there.

The Church has to pay money in the cases. Is money that important to parents? If someone had abused any of my father's children, he would settle it outside of court with his fist whether they were clergy or not. Some say that is vigilantism and many places there are laws against it. Daddy wouldn't care. He had never been in jail but he would willingly risk jail in that type of situation. Daddy was a very gentle man. Never laid a cruel hand on my mother, never used profanity, never went around talking tough. His children preferred him to spank or whip them than their mother.
As a woman if I had children without a father, I could land my foot in a very sensitive location.
I asked this earlier. Just curious.

I mean I try and I try and I try but what good does it do no matter what I say they just always get mad. Is it their nature? Heck,I'm a nice enough guy. I can't help it if everything they say about Christians somehow comes out sounding like an insult & then when I try to address them in an honorable and respectful well I swear it's almost like I got the Contagion.
