I tried it when I was a kid.... And the Umbrella Imploded!


I had better luck with sheets for effect.....but the landing was still a doozy.

I think now that I'm all grown up, I should apply some intellect and try gluing feathers to my arms and flap myself down.

I was seven years old, and I didn't use an umbrella. I tried to use a blanket as a parachute. It didn't work, which was a surprise to my seven year old self. I hit the ground hard, got the wind knocked out of me, but walked away without injury.

Actually tried it with a friend when i was 4 years old (off of a porch, that is).
