Even without informing God about the situation of those mentally unsound, He know it because He is watching us every moment in our life.
It is God who could tell where they will go when judgment come.
The mentally unsound living mankind creatures could accept God through other people who could teach them how to love God and obey him.

In my opinion, people like very small children or those with mental disabilities, or the "mentally unsound" are innocent. Of course this innocence may vary with each person in these categories, however even though it is not outwardly obvious, they have thier own communication with G-d and rest assured, G-d knows thier hearts. He knows ALL of us better than we know ourselves. Anyway, what do we think we OURSELVES can really know or understand? At least, in all perfection, the way it is meant to be known or understood? Do any of our foolish controversies about irrelevant or frivolus detail really do us all that good? Because of this, I think innocence is better than knowledge, but because of ego, we all have to be the most knowledgeable person out there! G-d help us... anyway, there was once a book that I read a long time ago. I can’t remember what it was, I think it was about Saint Francis of Assisi, but there is one quote I will never forget within it and that I love so much. “The foolishness of G-d is wiser than man’s wisdom.” We are ALL, simply like children to G-d. Aside from healing a "mentally unsound" person and making them whole, can they understand the state of this sinful world and the sin of mankind like others do? Would they have the capacity to understand or know things normally and rationally? (some wouldn't) would we understand them? Probably not. But G-d does. None of us have to understand everything, because that will come in time. None of us will ever understand or know anything anywhere near what G-d would have us do without coming to G-d as humbly as a small child and allowing Him to perfect us. And for most, if not all of us, that will not be until we are with Him in heaven.

A person who is mentally unsound has a problem that is not of their making. (unless it has been cause by drink or drug or other).
If you are talking about the child like mental state then you must remember that, (child like). Just as a child does not know right from wrong neither does the one in a child like mentaL state.
When either dies, they are like all other servents of God, I believe the Bible teaches us that they are at rest (sleep) until the Lord Jesus Wakes us to rise from the grave and be with Him.

They rot in the ground just like the rest of us.
Some mental illness (NOT refering to brain damage or people born with under-developed brain function) is to a degree a consequence for rejecting God and allowing evil to enter in. Remember King Saul was alright until he rejected God's command then he went dellusional.
In the New Testament Jesus delivered the man of the tombs-he had a legion of evil inside him, and was terrifing a whole town.
Other scripture indicates that because of sin God gives people over to strong dellusion.
The best we can do is pray for their deliverence before they die, most likely they won't have the capacity to do it for themselves.

If you're talking about mental illnesses, I guess that would depend on whether it's the delusional kind which makes them believe in God or not.
Me, I'm already going to "hell" for so many reasons you may as well add having a mental illness to it.

The same thing that happens to everyone when we die. We change form from the physical to the spiritual. No action required on our part. No action required from God. God loves and accepts us all unconditionally. Not like that angry, jealous, vengeful guy they try to tell of in christianity. More like the loving, accepting, wonderful one Jesus taught us of.

God knows the heart of man. He looks more at what's in the heart than what's in the mind. His grace is sufficient.

I compliment you for having stopped the reducing for see you later because it is not common. It is clever that the urge could come back now which you're having a no longer common time with profession and love life. i could discover strategies of distracting your self and being around supportive people. chatting with a counselor could additionally help immediately. If those techniques proceed i could strongly advise chatting with a psychological wellness professional. Going to therapy is stigmatized in spite of the undeniable fact that this is a great help. desire this enables. :) and bear in mind issues continually get extra appropriate, faster or later. experience extra appropriate.
