I doubt you'll receive many responses. Many people don't think about the why. For most families it's a birth right. I generallly answer Christian when asked outright, but I don't limit my my knowledge of other religions. I haven't found any other religion that make more sense. I don't prefer organized religion, so I am what you would call, non-denominational christian. Though I do study some eastern philosophy. I am a strong believer in a creator but not in a church. I believe that Jesus was here. I guess I was wrong on the quantity of answers.
Take care,
Jen

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints... what people know as Mormons.
Why? Because I was first, born into the religion, then when I was eight I chose to be baptised, and now before I turn 18 I studied the scriptures, pondered it out in my mind, and prayed about it and got the answer that this Church was indeed true!
Go Christians!

I go to an Episcopal church somewhat regularly, but I like to read about lots of different beliefs. I think that God is bigger than religion.

I'm a Jehovah's Witness.
Yay!
Why?
Because after a careful study of the Scriptures, I wholeheartedly believe that I found the truth and decided to dedicate my life to Jehovah God.
(By the way, what's with the IIII?)

Independent, Fundamental Baptist because it is Christ centered and based on the Bible. We believe the Bible is the literal word of God, that Jesus died for our sins and is the ONLY way to Heaven. That Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit make up the Trinity.

Luciferian gnostic. I’m one of those heathen heretics preachers warn about. I am this because it gives me the freedom to say, think, and do as I see fit, and my “gods” don’t give a crap. It’s one of those rare religions that seek the truth no matter where it leads. In fact the purpose of the gnostic is to find the crack in the cosmic wall (gnosis), and to use the knowledge to attempt to discover why the universe is flawed.
