The catholic church will not allow me to baptize my baby cause I am not a member of the church, and cause I do not go to mass. I was taught that babies need to be baptize otherwise they will not go to heaven and they will stay in the Limbo....Since I am having issues about my religion, I would like to know, How does the Protestan religions (Non-denominational, Baptist, methodist etc) argue this point. I am concern, I want to do the right thing, I want to become a member of a church, But I want to have the right reasons...I am looking for a light that can guide me to the right place...

I believe Dawkins said it was the "fine-tuning" of the universe. Things such as the existence of stars and planets, which without, presumably, there could be no life.

I was chosen to give the Invocation for graduation, which is ironic since I'm not religiously affiliated to any denomination (I'm not Atheist by any means, which is beside the point). Regardless, I was wondering if I could get some ideas for writing this speech or maybe a possible template of the structure of an invocation. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is the reason that I can not agree with most religious manuscripts. I can not see something that had no choice in its creation being blamed for not wanting to be a part of the existence that was forced upon it and there fore can not give God the motto "A Loving God"! Jealousy is a sin and God admits to being a sinner huh!

What else do we need to read thinking it's completely true in order to believe it? The Cat in the Hat? Harry Potter?

for along with personal information of myself all I received was a brush off letter for Mr. Gates and tickets to a get rich conference from Mr. Trump. I understand their position but there was no consideration. I'm struggling to live and thank god I don't have kids because we would be starving and homeless. All I need is better for me. What's the harm in that. I work everyday so I'm not lazy by no means. It's expensive living in Washington DC and I am barely making it.

I'd like to see if we can start a program in mostly affluent neighborhoods getting some of these kids back on the political track.

If you look at the breakdown of our leaders in Congress,as well as those running for President....well....I'm worried! The percentages are down!

seriously, she set her baby in a river. she didnt plan for anyone to find him, he just got lucky, if that happened. are we missing the whole point of the story, the unwanted cast away (attempted drowning) comes to lead his people to freedom? sounds much better.

NWT

***GENESIS 1

1 In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

***COLOSSIANS 1 (which we know is about JESUS)

16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.

***ISAIAH 44

24 This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser and the Former of you from the belly: “I, Jehovah, am doing everything, stretching out the heavens by myself, laying out the earth. Who was with me?
___________________________

So, since Jehovah can't lie, and He says He created everything BY HIMSELF, and Colossians says that JESUS created everything, that without Him, nothing would be made.... doesn't that make Jesus our God?

I'm not challenging anyone - simply looking for the various foundations one bases their belief on. If you answer fulfillment of prophecy - please give the scripture of what prophecy you're referring to. I'm also curious if their are other reasons besides the fulfillment of prophecy someone has for believing the bible to be true. My intent is to use your experience to help build my belief in the scriptures. thank you

9 Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. 10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you. 12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner—those who are not your offspring. 13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant."

I’m a believer in Christ but there were many factors that led me to where I am now. So when a non-Christian, agnostic or atheist express their lack of faith in what I believe, I do not treat it like it’s such an insult to me, my faith or worse yet to God. Their lack of faith does not mean they are deliberately trying not to believe or want to be bad. When I was a non-believer it was because God never revealed Himself to me, not because I was wicked and wanted to do bad things so I give them the same benefit of the doubt. Anyone with common sense knows faith IS subjective. I remember I had to be in the right place, right time, right state of mind for God to reveal himself to me the way that He did. So how can I condemn or pre-judge people who reject my beliefs and assume it means they wickedly want to reject God? I have faith God will reveal himself to ALL and EVERY knee will bow eventually. Don't you? Why do some feel it is ONLY through them and only in their way God will reach people?

The Koran comes against all that Jesus did for us & denies Muslims everlasting life through faith in Christ. Then if a Muslims does turns to Christ confessing Jesus Christ Lord of their life, believing He is the Son of God, paid for their sin on the cross & raised from the dead; then they are persecuted by fellow Muslims & sometimes murdered for their faith in Christ.
